The only thing that I can find that I cannot calibrate the rain gauge it is slightly off from my McGregor rain gauge I have on the post.

Cover was exactly what I needed and was received quickly.

This is my second Ambient weather station. I love the display for the information it supplies. The bigger display for wind information is great the direction in degrees not just a pointer is useful. The fact that I can see all the precipitation from event daily, weekly, hourly and years accumulation has been a great help. It took me a while to set up some things is only because of my limited tech skills. This Ws-2000 is a great unit and I would recommend it.

But the unit works great, although I think I didn't need to replace it in th efirst place... I think my unit was just a little too far away for my home-display to receive a solid signal. I replaced the old unit and was still having the same issue with this new one, so I relocated the whole weather station, and viola, everything is working great now. I'll keep the old one to replace this one if it goes bad.

If you have a swimming pool, with the UV index, you can tell the grandkids how long they can swim before getting sunburned.
If you want to see how the outdoor conditions effect your HVAC cycling in a day, you can determine that too.
I you're considering roof solar, the W/m² can give you an idea of cost-effective solar sizing.
There are many other things you can derive from the download data available.

I use this to monitor the temperature under the well rock, Does a good job.

Used one for years. Love

I love its feathers and display well thought out.

Great communication from Ambient. Quick delivery, think It arrived in 2 days.
Ordered as a replacement for one that I damaged. Easy to install, and easy to pair with control panel.
Would definitely buy again!

👍

I had a 6-year-old weather station that was starting to fail, but Ambient sells individual replacement parts, which saved me from having to replace the entire unit.

The replacement assembly shipped quickly, and the working parts from my original unit were easy to transfer over. Everything was also pre-coated with dielectric grease for better weather resistance, which was a nice touch.

Ambient’s quick-connect design made the whole repair take less than 10 minutes. The fact that I didn’t have to throw away the entire weather station and could simply replace the failed parts is awesome from a sustainability standpoint.

5 out of 5 stars. I would definitely recommend Ambient to anyone looking for a solid weather station with great repairability.

Very easy to find the needed parts for my system on web site. Delivery came fast and parts worked like new. Eady set up.

Worked as advertised. Thanks.

Came fast, as described working great and packaged well. Very happy with purchase.

Just like new.

Great weather station. Easy to setup.

every thing was good except there were no instructions. I did not need them, but it would've been nice to have them.

I’ve had a very positive experience with the Ambient Weather WS-2000 so far. Installation was straightforward, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Within a short time, I had everything up and running and collecting data. The range of information it provides is exactly what I was looking for, accurate, detailed, and reliable.

The display unit does feel a little on the cheaper side in terms of build quality, but in practice that hasn’t been much of an issue. I rarely need to interact with it directly, and the screen itself is bright, clean, and well-organized, making it easy to read at a glance.

The mobile app is really the only weak point for me. The initial dashboard is clean and easy to understand, which I appreciate. However, finding simple summary data, like daily, weekly, or monthly rainfall totals, is not as intuitive as it should be. The app does offer a lot of graphs and detailed data, which is great, but viewing and navigating those on a phone can be a bit of a strain, especially for middle-aged eyes.

That said, these are relatively minor drawbacks. Overall, we’re very happy with the system and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a capable and user-friendly home weather station.
