Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
Received the ambient weather station as a Christmas gift and am really happy with it. Currently the outside wind/rain/temp sensor is mounted about 9 feet off the ground on a pole. Unit receives data in the house without any issue. This unit is a big step up from my LaCrosse View unit.

Installed on a tripod on our roof for almost a week and it's working great so far. We had some concerns about daya transmission due to plaster walls. But, no problems yet!

Ambient Weather WeatherMount Weather Station Mount
We purchased this along with three 10" extensions. The extensions made the mount a little too unsteady and we needed to add two guidewires to steady it. That being said, it was extremely easy to install and is doing a great job of holding our WS-5000.

We purchases a WS-5000 weather station and a number of different sensors including leak detection, air quality and soil moisture. The process of purchasing, delivery, setup and using the weather station was excellent. There are a number of helpful videos on you tube as well as Ambient's website to assist in how to setup and interact with a number of websites.

Unit works well and seems quite sturdy. Instructions are thorough, but hard to follow and do not concur with the latest firmware. (per support). However, support was quick and very helpful and I am satisfied
