Ambient Weather WS-2902 Home Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
We had a WS-1001 that worked well for many years although it never seemed to record rain fall accurately. Out new WS-2902 is much better in that regard, also wind speed seems much more accurate as well. It was easy to get set up - even if it was raining at the time and once it was set up we have not had any problems. Great home weather Station especially for the price.

Most features work well and were easy to set up. The WIFI connection is particular and won't cont to our Hughes Net 2r5G setup.

Ambient Weather WS-5000-RAIN Replacement Rain Collector for WS-5000, WS-2000 Weather Stations
Not totally happy that I had to purchase the replacement rain collector when I only had the original for a little less than 2 years. Paid a lot for the weather station and would expect it to hold up longer than that.

Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
This is my first station. Pretty easy setup. I wish the North indicator was easier to see from the bottom so I could get wind direction to be perfect. (or top, from that matter)

Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
Very easy setup and it was up and running. Working well so far.
It would be be nice to have a better mechanism to type on the display, as it is a but clunky to enter passwords and account information on.

Ambient Weather WS-2902 Home Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
Everyone I spoke to was very kind and helpful. They did their best to help me buy the weather station I wanted but it turned out the web site had issues. I did get my order and it is on the way.

Really easy to use. My son already had the system set up on his house and we live next door. We were able to buy an extra monitor and connect to his system. Works great

Ambient Weather WS-5000-ARRAY Replacement Ultrasonic Anemometer, Outdoor Thermometer / Hygrometer, Solar Radiation and UV for
At the end of April 2023 the Temperature and Humidity sensor in my WS-5000 Weather Station failed and I purchased a new sensor array. It took several hours to get the new array installed and operating as it arrived with no installation instructions and installation is definitely not intuitive. But once up and turned on it operated perfectly.
I purchased the WS-5000 in June 2021 as a replacement for a WS-8478 Falcon, purchased in November 2018, on which the Temperature and Humidity sensors had failed. In the WS-5000 the temperature and humidity sensors share a small circuit board with the wind speed and direction sensors, if any element fails you have to replace the complete array. I have had four weather stations since 2009, first a Davis Instruments and then three Ambient Weather stations. In all four what failed first was the temperature and humidity sensor(s), these should be a separate from everything else, plug and play module...with available replacements.

We have an eight-year old Ambient weather station that still works fine, But the black-and-white console recently died. We got this as a replacement and love the color display, detailed info, and built-in WiFi. It was annoying setting up the WiFi though--it wanted "WiFi SSID" and I had to laboriously reconfigure out WiFi network and finally ended up giving it a new short name because of how tedious it is to "type" into the console (even worse than typing on Smart TV screen.

Ambient Weather WS-8480-ARRAY Replacement Array for WS-8480 Weather Station
The only item of issue operationally is that the Annemometer makes a rattle noise at very low wind speeds. I have not had the opportunity to access my rooftop location with WD40 to try and rectify that situation. Otherwise the replacement works well.

So far so good. But I beleive this should come with the unit. Should not be an add on. We have a lot of birds and none have bothered it.
