Ambient Weather WS-2902-AC Replacement AC Adapter, WS-2902 Wireless Weather Station
This adapter fit my weather station and is working great. Some other off brand products advertised on other shopping platforms would not plug in correctly. If you need a new adapter, get this one.

Ambient Weather EZ-NPP Tripod and Mast Assembly with Platform
We bought this stand for our Ambient Weather station because we weren't sure where we needed to put it to read to the console. Rather than buy a pole and have a handyman bury it and then have to move it, it was cheaper to buy this unit and be able to move it anytime. it went together easily and the cinder blocks fit well. we had to work a bit to get it level on the ground which we did with rocks and using a level.
Love how well the weather station reports to the console.

new 4000 vs 3 year old WS 5000

Ambient Weather WS-4000 Solar Powered UltraSonic Wi-Fi Weather Station
Comparison between two weather stations located within 100 feet from each other. Readings were very similar once new 4000 was calibrated, however, the “instructions” that come in the box of the 4000 nor the QR code nor web site were helpful in trying to correct the location for Sunrise/Sunset time nor calibrating the wind speed. Neither unit reflects wind speed accurately, the new 4000 substantially under reports the speed and the WS 5000 over estimates gust speeds

some things are difficult to do

Ambient Weather WS-4000 Solar Powered UltraSonic Wi-Fi Weather Station
The station is easy to install and operate. Calibration of the rainfall is complex, difficult and cumbersome. I may opt for an auto dump type station for accuracy that seems lacking.I am pleased with the display and information offered but the rainfall sure leaves something to be desired.

Ambient Weather WS-2902-THERMOHYGRO-ASSEMBLY Replacement Thermo-Hygrometer Assembly, WS-1900, WS-2000, WS-2902, WS-2902A
I lost my temperature reading after years of use so I sent a troubleshooting email to support. Matt Murphy responded and told me the part I needed and also sent me instructions on how to replace. The part came quickly and I had my weather station working again in 25 minutes. Thank you so much.

check your power supply before buying a new panel

Ambient Weather WS-5000-CONSOLE Console Only, WS-5000 Wireless Weather Station
My panel starting rebooting uncontrollably - I knew it would be a job to reconfigure a new panel to handle my many sensors, so I tried first connecting the new power supply - that was it! - old panel works fine and reconfiguring is not needed. Lots of time saved, but $200+ spent for probably a $15 item - I now have an extra panel as backup.

My early experience with Ambient WS-5000
Verified Buyer
Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
As a retired meteorologist and program manager for airport and climate weather stations, I easily installed my WS-5000 and connected to AWN and WU for data sharing. Ordering and installation instructions were well written. I am very pleased with the simplicity of installation and data quality for a home data system. Siting exposure is 50 percent of the data quality and I need to move my system away from my home when the weather gets warmer. I was a bit confused about the Barometer but finally figured out how to adjust the display from ABS (ambient pressure) to REL (airport Altimeter setting pressure). I am looking forward to adding additional sensors and relocating to a better exposure.

Ambient Weather WS-2902-WC-ASSEMBLY Replacement Wind Speed Assembly, WS-1900, WS-2000, WS-2902, WS-2902A
Took the weather station down because it was mounted to a deck that was being replaced. Somehow the station fell over and the wind cup shaft to the wind cup broke. Called customer service and explained what I had happened and they immediately diagnosed what I needed and withing 3 days I had the part. Removed one screw to replace the unit and was back up transmitting data within the hour. Great service from a great company!!

Our display monitor accidentally was knocked off our counter and broke. I contacted the ambient via email. They got back to me on the next business day. Took my information over the phone and I think it was only a day or so until I got my new display unit. I thought the price was reasonable and the service was excellent.
