Product functions as expected.

Set up was straight forward and adding additional sensors was easy. The display has high resolution but it would be better if the display was bigger, allowing for bigger fonts. The app for mobile devices is great.

They work great with the WS 2000. I have three out by my above ground pool about 125 feet away. One is in the wooden pump house and two are on the other side of the metal pool sides from the 2000. (that is amazing !!) I could tell the other day when the pump failed and the water stopped circulating just by the temperatures. As well I have one 5 feet above ground to compare with the temp in the wind unit that is 30 feet in the air and …………. one in my library room in the other side of the building. I could even put in two more!!!!

I may have left a review for a station that got returned? This particular unit is nice with the back light but after 7 days, everything is working fine but the clock has not connected yet, we shall see.

So far so good. Seems to be functioning as advertised.

Great features, accurate information

Not a lot of lightening as of late but so far so good. It works.

Excellent equipment! Working great and pretty straight forward to set up and calibrate. We use it here at Island Sailing (school and club) in Portland and our members love being able to access the information!

Awesome, let’s me monitor freeze sensitive areas of my home and respond accordingly. Great addition to all the other great features.

I suffered an injury after receiving my Ambient Weather parts and have been unable to assemble/install them. I will let you know when I have recovered and able to assemble my station.

it is all i expected

After years of using a Davis VantagePro2 this was quite a switch. My anemometer had given out and I never did like their display and difficulty, and cost, of connecting to the internet. So I decided to give this unit a try.

One huge positive is the display. It is great, and includes pretty much everything I want, including rate of rainfall, as well as total for the day, event, hourly, weekly, yearly. It includes maximum daily wind gust, barometer and direction, solar radiation, dewpoint, and quite a few other normal items. Easy to ready, colorful, and so much better than the Davis one.

My least liked feature is the anemometer. It does pretty well with higher winds, although out of nowhere I had a spike up to 77.1 mph and it wasn't that windy. But it is pretty bad at telling wind direction when the wind drops below about 7 or 8 mph. My readings jump all over the place. It looks silly. I did have a problem with the wind speed locking for hours on end at one reading, but that seems to be gone now. A factory reset involving removal of the batteries for three hours and pushing the reset button is the normal fix, but mine corrected on its own.

I screwed up the installation and stuck the rain gauge atop the mast, but then for some reason attached the anemometer a little lower on the mast and with the low solar angle at this time of year every day my solar radiation dropped way off for a few hours. The drop off looked like the same shape as the rain gauge, and a little light went on and I adjusted the anemometer unit higher and that is now working as it should.

But for me the crown jewel was the ease this connects to the internet. After the Davis nonsense for years I wanted something simple. This is simple. It is so easy I'm pretty sure just about anyone could do it. Only took a few minutes and my three sites are on Ambient, PWSWeather, and Weather Underground. Now if I can get WU to figure out why my unit is online, even by their readings, yet the actual site turns off several times a day and no data is recorded. It is driving me bonkers with all of the gaps in data, yet the other sites have a continuous reading.

Bottom line is that I am pleased. But I'm not gaga over the anemometer. The spinny guys work fine, and the direction indicator is much more accurate than is this one. So I likely would be happy with the 2000, but I don't mind that I purchased this one. I definitely like it better than the Davis.

Great easy replacement for my rain accumulator funnel which blew off in a storm. I apparently did not install it correctly. Make sure you turn it until the ears engage or you could be buying another. Funny thing is that I found the one that blew off in my yard a week after buying and replacing the "lost" one.

Purchase arrived timely and so far no issues.

Very happy so far. Setup with the app was a little difficult but a little patience and research and got that done. Highly recommend Ambient Weather. They sent Info ahead of time for Setup and where to locate station. Seem like a very good company.

So far it is working great

I broke my wind weather came and thought I was out of luck getting a new one. I checked Ambient Weather's website and they had a replacement. It was a good as the old one and easy to replace. Thank you for having good quality parts! It was perfect!!

I've only had the weather station for a few weeks, but so far it has worked fine. I love being able to see the daily, weekly, and monthly rain totals and the temperature and wind speed in my backyard. The only thing I can nitpick about is having to bend each of the little wires on the bird cage over the rain funnel. Not a big deal, just can't think of anything else to complain about.

Pretty good. The outside transmitter is not as durable or resilient as it ought to be
