Ambient Weather WS-2902 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
This is my second Ambient Weather station. My previous one was the WS-1001-WIFI. The wind speed stopped working on the old one and was unable to get the replacement array as it has been out of stock for a long time. I got this one as a replacement. It was easy to set up and use. The base on the display is not as robust as the old unit and the viewing angle is less. I do miss the graph for the barometer. With the old one I could download the info to a SD card. It took me several tries to get the unit to link to the Ambient and Weather Underground sites. This unit does all that is advertised so I can not fault it for the differences.

I remember when an earlier version of this was on the market when I ultimately purchased my late Oregon scientific WMR200. It lasted about 9 years. During that time this design has matured, and I look forward to its stellar performance as reviewed time and time again by professional as around the globe.
My short time with it has been great. My only gripe is the display has a small field of view. The data to Ambient and WU is great!

Ambient Weather WS-2902 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
Due to International freight delays, it was about 2 weeks late on delivery. I have the Weather Station mounted outside all level and is comunicating with the Inside monitor. My Internet Router is not used for WiFi in the house. I have a Ubiquiti Gateway and Powered Switch with WiFi repeaters connected to the router. It has only the 5.0GHz band, so we can't connect to Hosting website for publishing weather data.

Good product. Hooking it up to the internet and then getting the data back to see online was less than clear and easy but after it worked, it works great.Wish it was not made in China.

Easy to assemble. Calibrated well to keep straight (I just had to make sure the first pipe I mounted to the post was straight and the rest followed once snugged down).

Ambient Weather WS-5000-RAINSPIKE Bird Spike Kit for WS-5000 Rain Gauge
Several important pieces of information need to be provided to your customers about this kit:
1) This kit contains two boxes each holding a birdspike kit for a smaller rain gage. So, you'll probably need to use parts of both kits to adequately make the birdspike apparatus for your WS-5000 gage.
2) IF you insert one end of the metal band into a connector, you can't retract it - ever. Don't do so until you put on the plastic spike holders and make sure the spike holders are oriented correctly.
3) IF you have inserted one end of the metal band into a connector, but need to "unconnect", you can only snip off the metal band before the connector, then pull out the cut-off end.
4) You'll need to use the plastic spike holders from both kits to have enough.
5) Make sure the plastic spike holders are arranged correctly on the metal band: right side out, right side up.
