Ambient Weather WS-2801A Advanced Wireless Color Forecast Station with Temperature, Humidity and Barometer
It is a good station. Not great, just good. Wish the screen was larger. It isn't possible to read from across the room. Keys feel cheap. The outdoor sensor mysteriously lost connection one day after weeks being connected. The color changing is strange, there needs to be far more contrast.
The moon cycle is gorgeous. I like the predicted weather. The guts behind the device are fantastic - Ambient makes great devices (just bad software and instructions).
As with all Ambient weather devices, the whole thing feels like it was programmed years ago. Key presses are completely counterintuitive (you will have to keep the instruction manual nearby). The instructions are needlessly complicated, written more like engineering papers for weather station geeks (this is a consumer product unlike the weather stations - the whole temperature and barometer calibration discussion is needless, relative pressure should be easy to understand, it is not).

Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
The WS-2000 station performed perfect for my purpose. Accuracy seems spot on. Easy install and connected to WU with no problem. Only issue was connecting to Ambient weather thru their App on google play. Will not open with my phone, but WU works great wit it.The display is very pleasing on the eyes. Overall a great unit!

Ambient Weather WS-2902 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
Wish it had a bigger display console and easier to read at all angles like the old ws7079 model. Small display console is hard to read without me wearing my glasses. Plus it has no dewpoint displayed unless you hit a series of buttons. Pain in the butt to do that every half hour

Ambient Weather WS-5000-RAINSPIKE Bird Spike Kit for WS-5000 Rain Gauge
Nice, works great. One tip, get it assembled, put it on your rain guage tighten up the band clamp, take it off and pull it a little more tight 1/4 and it should fit pretty snug when re-installed..

We love it, however, some data reports slight differences from our console. So far, that is our only issue with it. We love all the information it puts in our hands!

Ambient Weather WS-2801A Advanced Wireless Color Forecast Station with Temperature, Humidity and Barometer
I had a weather center with a larger and wider display, a La Crosse, but what was a plus was also a drawback in that it took up a lot of room.
The new Ambient is almost perfect. All the info that I want is displayed and with small footprint. The temperatures are just a little small for my old eyes but overall, I'm very pleased with the weather station

Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
I love my new weather station Christmas gift my husband surprised me with. I worked with professional, military-grade "AF Weather" systems for years, so I have high expectations. The WS-2000 is surprisingly very robust, and so far, accuracy seems to be within tolerances for our needs.
I had it up and running within a few hours and then a bit more to connect to Wunderground and Ambient Weather for reporting--very simple directions!
We live along the Gulf of Mexico, so my only bah humbug would be lack of SS hardware clamps for mounting and the fact that the anemometer only specs to 100mph, but so do several other equivalent systems that I looked at--great deal for the price point!

So far I am very pleased with the WS-2000. It was simple to set up, the display is very nice as are the apps and integration with WU. It was easy to share on my wife's phone too and I can easily check it on my computer too. I do wish the display did not turn off after 24 hours and a manual button press is required once a day to turn it back on. Otherwise, everything is excellent.

Installation was no problem. Plug in one end, then the other, and off you go. Only problem is that I have no idea if it's actually working when the temperature drops below freezing....no indication anywhere that it's on! Keeping my fingers crossed that my 50 bucks was well spent.
