I recently bought a different company's unit and had trouble with is and went to their Service for help which was non existent. I wanted to return it but was refused. Being this was a gift from my wife she said to buy another one from Ambient. I did and never looked back. The unit was easy to assemble and set up on the net. Thank you for such a good product and easy to read instructions.

Excellent website, delivery, directions and ease of set up. I just wish the screen was a bit bigger on the WS-3000.

Very Nice Product

I like that I could replace my broken old one.

I really like my new Ambient Weather station considerably more than my previous brand. The only challenge is that I cannot make it connect to my eero Pro6 mesh router.

Great station, fun, directions could be better but tech support on phone great talked us through the tougher set up items

I had for many years the WS-2902B and loved it. It was very dependable and hopefully still working for person that bought my house in Pennsylvania. We moved to Texas and here I setup the WS-2000 with extra display, soil moisture sensors, lightning detector, temp/humidity sensors and a temperature only sensor. Everything is working great. I setup a WH-31P to measure swimming pool temperature. So far it works perfect.
Ambient Weather was fast in shipping and I had absolutely no problems with them.
I would highly recommend any of Ambient Weather's equipment for your weather monitoring needs.

I ordered the WS-5000 bird spike kit the day after I installed the rain gauge outside. We have a lot of birds in our area that love to decorate our patio furniture. That wide rain bowl sure looks inviting.

I haven't seen any birds on my rain gauge after installing the spikes, but then again ... I didn't see any birds on my gauge the 3 days before I installed the spikes.

My only concern is that Ambient is reusing the same spikes from the smaller bowl kit (this kit is actually 2 of the smaller kit) may not be long enough considering the much wider bowl area.

In a few years, I will have a better idea of the effectiveness, but it looks like it should work for now.

Very easy to install

Had to replace after 20 months. Should last longer. Unit works as advertised

The kit works as intended as it definitely slows down the number of birds on the rain gauge cup. The only issue is that it is difficult to get the metal band to tighten enough to keep the spike ring in place after several days of use. Corrected the problem by wrapping the unit with a nylon wire tie over the metal tie.

Easy setup. so far it is working very well.

Great, easy to follow instructions. Getting the station up and going was a breeze. The materials and construction are first rate and the display is nicely laid out. Everything is a step up from my previous, inexpensive station.

Great.

Great console for my desk that allows me to keep tabs on the weather at a glance

Excellent products, ordering and delivery.

Easy to use at an attractive price.

Easy to assemble base unit. The assembly of the optional rain spike kit was cumbersome and tedious work. Not easy to secure to the rain gauge funnel. My concern is when I have to remove funnel to clean the rain gauge the spike kit will come off and not re-attach securely to the funnel. The band clamp used to secure the spike to the funnel is one time use. The spare sent with the kit was ruined by my son who was checking it out and slipped it together never to be used again. The unit works great. Setting the units, time, date is a somewhat frustrating job. I had to start over several times. Deciding where and how to mount the unit was time consuming. Reading the site survey and trying to satisfy all the requirements made me just put off installing the unit altogether. The mounting devices offered by Ambient seemed very pricey. I would have more money in the mounting apparatus than I paid for the weather station. My wife is glad we got this station because she likes to watch the wind cups. The display is pretty and easy to read from a distance. I hope it lasts forever so I don't have to buy another.

Works great again

Easy assembly and set-up.
