These work very well and look good where I have placed them.

Have only had it a few weeks. Immediately noticed it randomly loses WiFi connection on routers with Broadcom chips; in my case an Asus. Emailed Ambient but got no reply. Not sure if I should compare the WS-2902C to my previous Lacrosse Pro as there are Pros and Cons with the Ambient. Overall it seems okay and can upload to three cloud sites if it doesn't lose WiFi connection. Am having to use an old Qualcomm Atheros router like I had connected to the old Lacrosse Pro for a solid connection.

Very nice unit. I particularly appreciate the design of the rain gauge unit that has greatly reduced the influence of high wind on the measurement of actual rainfall. All other functions appear to be working as intended and the information provided is very useful. Highly recommended.

Set up was easy. Temperature sensor reads 2 degrees hotter than all my peers

5-star

Great station! Our kids love to watch the weather and see how many lightning strikes there have been. Easy to set up as an online weather station too. The only drawback is the display interface seems about 10 years outdated. Needs an updated touchscreen system in my opinion.

Part did not fit my my ws-1002 array even though the description said it was the correct part. After receiving I noticed that it looked a bit different than my part but tried it anyway. It did not work. Worked with support group and found that my array actually needs a different part that is not available.

The hardware appears to be high quality, the setup was very simple, and the instruction manual is very well written and detailed.

easy to install and much cheaper than replacing entire unit. one criticism is that website was not clear that component existed. only after contacting customer service did i realize i could replace this component. customer service was friendly and helpful and knowledgable.

Parts were exactly what I needed and got them quickly. Seems pricy for such small parts, but had to have them.

My new Ambient Weather WS-5000 weather station was a replacement for a WS-8478 FALCON weather station. I had a number of problems with the 8478 and 13 months after I set it up, the humidity and pressure sensor simply died. The WS-5000 arrived too late in the day to set it up immediately, the next morning I unpacked it, made sure I had every thing I needed and by 11:00 AM it was up, running and visible on both the Ambient Weather Net and the Weather Underground. It has now been in operation for almost a month and has run flawlessly.

The rain gauge seems to be much more accurate than the gauge on the 8478 and the bird spikes are an effective and welcome addition. I live in a very rural area and birds (and the large amounts of what they produce and spread so generously) were a big problem. The WS-5000, because of the size of the rain gauge, came with two bird spike kits. After fitting bird spikes to the rain gauge there was enough material left to add rain spikes to the Sensor Array also. The flat top of the Sensor Array would be a perfect bird perch and I suspect that bird byproduct would quickly ruin or at least degrade the accuracy of the sonic wind sensor.

This is a great unit. It is easy to setup and connect additional sensors. It was easy to setup online as well so I can see my conditions at home no matter where I might be.

very nice

very pleased with them, I have 2 plus the 2000 console, they seem to be spot on wish the 2000 console had battery backup

Excellent product but instruction book could be improved.

Very happy with it.

This system is amazing I have recommended it to a friend of mine. I am so please with the new vane works great
