After considerable research, I decided to purchase a WS-2902C. My purchase decision was based upon a combination of features and price, supported by the large number of positive reviews.
Ordering from the Ambient Weather website was quick and easy and the station showed up on my doorstep within a few days. Assembly was easy, as was mounting the station on a telescoping pipe. Connecting to my WiFi was simple, but you have to follow instructions carefully. Two days after receiving it, I was reporting to several Internet weather sites.
I'm very pleased with the quality and ease of installation. I hesitated for several years before purchasing a personal weather station because of my perceived difficulties, but Ambient made the whole process very easy. Highly recommended!

I know I live in the city next to the one where the shipping warehouse is, but I was extremely surprised to have it delivered within 20 hrs.

Shipping time was reasonable. The ws2902c was a little disappointing in wifi connection. It wouldn't work with Cumulus, an open source weather station software commonly used for many weather stations. Otherwise, the station performed fairly well for just watching the current weather.

observerIP works great - didn't even need to use the IPscan tool (my router told me which device was new to the network). i wish the charts went back further than 24 hours though ...

Fast shipping! Well packed and included the optional bird spikes, which has already proved necessary. I would suggest a rewrite of the assembly instructions for more clarity and ease of assembly. My family enjoys checking on the weather! Thank you.
