I was waiting for the lightning detector to come back in stock and the moment it did I made my purchase. I was expecting it to take over a week or more to deliver, but it was here in just a few days. Well ahead of what my order had said. Impressive and very pleased!!!

Slow in getting it shipped and then using USPS it took a long time. Should think about using UPS or FEDEX.

Very straight forward to set up. Placement is key to make sure the conditions can be reported accurately and the base unit has a strong signal. I would recommend finding that spot before deciding to put a structure in place. The rest, is academic.
I like having access to other stations on the network. I live a few miles to the beach. I can check conditions before I go, to make sure I have the right clothes. There are, literally, hundreds of stations within 20 miles.

Ambient Weather needs to start using a reputable shipping service to Canada.
UPS charge the customer (us) a ridiculous amount to simply collect tax on the shipment.
Itās basic robbery and holding the shipment hostage on top,of all normal shipping fees.
The UPS ānegotiated ratesā donāt seem to apply and are still exorbitant.
The normal Postal service works quite well and should be offered as an option.
Basically, the defective original 2902 console upgrade program to,replace bricked and useles consoles due to the āupgradeā not working is useless for anyone outside the USA as it costs more than the rebate to ship the old one back.
Ambient Weather are good for USA customers and horrible for anyone else.
