Purchased the bird spikes for the newest weather station (WS-5000) and they were impossible to install on the rain gauge. Turned out to be a waste of my money. The weather station, however, is outstanding but the holes for the bird spikes should be built in to the rasin gauge and come with the WS-5000 system.

Exactly as was expected, its very useful gadget

The CSR was incredibly helpful and guided me through the issue and product order in a gracious and kind manner. I got the part in TWO DAYS, how did you do that? AZ to Ohio in two days? Amazing, given the USPS problems of late. Anyway, my contact with Ambient Weather representatives was more than satisfactory, it was outstanding.

Great service

Was a gift for our father-so far he loves it.

We like your products. Have been using them for several years now and gave one as a Xmas gift in 2020. Our son mounted it on his house roof and is very pleased with it. Also, speedy, free shipping. Best to buy directly from your company.

Received this right on time or looks great after 2 feet of snow melt I will install it looking forward to it

Generally positive.

Great stuff. We love our fancy new weather gear.

Easy to setup and use. It does a great job of giving me weather readings inside and outside.

I purchased the Ambient Weather WS-5000 sonic anemometer to replace a very old home wireless weather station that was having problems. The WS-5000 has been in operation for only about 10 days, so I can't comment on long-term performance of the station. In brief, however, I am very impressed with the overall performance of WS-5000 unit. My old station updated data signals about every 18 seconds, whereas the WS-5000 updates the main wind sensor every 4.75 seconds. A nice improvement. The TFT panel display is sharp and clear. It puts a lot of weather information in a small space. To test the WS-5000 I collocated it within a few feet of my old weather station and conducted side-by-side data comparisons. The data comparisons have convinced me of the WS-5000's accuracy. On a related side note, my 36-year professional career was in air quality and meteorological monitoring programs so I am very familiar with numerous professional grade meteorological sensors that cost several thousand dollars. Although the WS-5000 is not a "professional grade" meteorological monitoring system, at a cost of only $330 it is a very decent system for the home-based weather enthusiast.

All good. Got a good deal on my unit being direct from the manufacturer. It arrived timely and I have had no issues with set-up and ease of it working for me. It is about 200 ft. from my indoor unit and all works great.

The unit seems to function properly except the WiFi. This is the second unit I’ve tried and cannot connect it to WiFi, which is a major reason I bought the unit. I downloaded the app and followed all the instructions. I even went through some extra steps with their tech support. I tried a different phone, nothing worked. The connection app has a 1.7 rating as of this writing with the major complaint being WiFi connection. Doesn’t seem they’re interested in fixing the bugs that keep the app from crashing. They really need to quit promoting the WiFi ability until this issue is fixed. If the WiFi features are important to you, don’t waste your time with this unit.

Great service and great product!

Well, Got my WS-5000 system up and running-would have ever imagine how great it is-if you follow your directions, set-up is a whiz. For this quality of a system-the price isn't
too bad. If your looking for a top of the line weather system-this is the one to buy.

Nice unit easy setup

Had to replace wind meter cups. Price was reasonable and included shipping. Arrived quickly and was easy to install.

Takes awhile to set up but love it

Weather station arrived a day early. I was able to get it up and running before the weekend. Instruction manual was great, got everything synced up. Love the display tablet, and dashboard on my smartphone. So far, the weather station is outstanding!

Solved the problem. Grateful it was available. Received in a very timely manner.
