Wooden Icon Box, Nativity, Version 2 with ornate border, large
The Nativity box is truly lovely, well-crafted and stunning in its detail. It is, however, smaller than I imagined it, but I made it work by re-designing my display niche.

Wooden Icon Box, NativIty scene, deluxe large
The wooden Icon Box is a beautiful item which I gave as Christmas presents to ladies at Church who are fellow parishioners. They were all very pleased with the gift and told me so.

The Age of Nihilism: Christendom from the Great War to the Culture Wars
Excellent History of Christendom. The author compares and contrasts the consequences of losing a paradisiacal worldview with the historical attempt of men to construct a utopian society. Setting the hopelessness of Nietzsche alongside the hope of Dostoevsky was my favorite section. A must for one’s personal library. A great gift for any acquaintance who teaches World History or Western Civilization.

2023 Little Church Planner
Bear planner ever, the only change request would be for tabs for the months to find easier.

2023 Calendar of Liturgical Seasons: Holy Ireland (Julian version, old calendar)
Beautiful and well-chosen pictures. I only wish there had been more of them. 12 separate pages for the months would have given more room for marking appointments and notes.

Letters to Spiritual Children (2015 edition)
I have read the whole book but keep it near my bed to reread a letter before drifting to sleep. I need to be reminded of what really matters with the "wisdom of the world " constantly yelling in my ears all day long. I have given several copies to friends hoping it is as edifying for them.

2023 Icon Calendar: Saints and Martyrs of the Early Church (First to Third Centuries), Julian version, old calendar
This calendar is one of the worst Orthodox calendars I have purchased. The saints icons in the calendar do not even come close to matching the saints in the Julian Calendar version. I am not sure who made the Julian version, but greater care needs to be taken to have matching saints to the month.

The Orthodox Study Bible, Ancient Faith Edition, Leathersoft: Ancient Christianity Speaks to Today’s World
I love my new leather bound Bible. The pages are beautiful with the edges gilded and it is so easy to hold it and open it to where I need to be. The gold bookmark ribbons makes it easy to mark my place too. Glory to God!
