Beautiful icon and extremely well made. This icon is precious to me because location of the event depicted is about 45 minutes from where I grew up. I recently had the opportunity to visit the beautiful St. George Church in Kearney, Nebraska and see the original icon. Also, Father Christopher was extremely gracious and took the time to bless the icon in the church with relics of St. Raphael making my trip and the icon that much more special. Christ is risen!

Lilyan Andrews’ Waiting and Dating, published by Ancient Faith Press, is a profound gift to young Christians navigating the complexities of relationships in a world increasingly at odds with timeless virtues. As someone deeply immersed in both academic and personal explorations of faith, culture, and community, I found this book to be an invaluable resource that harmonizes traditional Orthodox Christian principles with practical, real-world application.

Andrews masterfully addresses the universal questions surrounding love, commitment, and discernment, yet she does so in a way that feels deeply personal and empathetic. Her tone is neither preachy nor detached but reflects the heart of someone who has walked the path she writes about. The book is rich in spiritual depth, weaving in Scriptural references and insights from the Church Fathers, which resonated with my own commitment to integrating faith into every facet of life. Andrews’ ability to balance the wisdom of the ancients with a relatable and modern voice makes this book a treasure for readers of all ages.

What sets Waiting and Dating apart is its nuanced understanding of cultural contexts, a feature I deeply appreciate as someone who has studied and written about the intersections of faith and identity, particularly within the Coptic Orthodox tradition. Andrews reminds us that the journey toward meaningful relationships must be grounded in Christ-like love, intentionality, and patience—values that transcend cultural boundaries while affirming our unique heritages.

Moreover, the book doesn’t shy away from addressing the challenges faced by diaspora communities, where balancing traditional expectations with modern realities can be particularly demanding. This aspect of Andrews’ work struck a chord with me, as it reflects the same thoughtful approach I strive to bring to my research and ministry. Her guidance is steeped in humility and offers a roadmap for cultivating relationships that honor both our faith and our cultural distinctiveness.

As someone pursuing theological studies and deeply invested in youth mentorship, I believe Waiting and Dating is a must-read for anyone—whether single, dating, or preparing for marriage—seeking a deeper understanding of what it means to build a relationship that glorifies God. Andrews’ words not only inspire but equip readers to approach their journey with hope, clarity, and spiritual grounding.

I wholeheartedly recommend Waiting and Dating and will be sharing it widely with the youth I mentor. This book is a beautiful example of how timeless Orthodox wisdom can meet the needs of modern Christians with grace and relevance. Five stars are not enough to capture the depth and impact of Lilyan Andrews’ work. Thank you, Ancient Faith Press, for this outstanding contribution to Christian literature!

I ordered The Wolf and the Cross as a Christmas gift. The recipient loves it! So, I ordered a copy for myself, and I love it, too!

I'm sending these ornaments to my godmother and goddaughter - beautiful gifts and a wonderful reminder of the Incarnation!

An excellent book for Orthodox Christians and all Christians. I have recommended it to others. A good overview of the process of dying and death. It's hard to find Orthodox information about this. And it can save you money because in many cases you won't need to use an expensive commercial funeral home.

My purchased was lost in the mail, without any hesitate they send out a replacement which I appreciate. I would definitely do business with them.

Glass/plastic screen came cracked. Otherwise, beautiful.

My husband and I love this ornament! Its beautifully made.

This is a very interesting book and it is well written; therefore easy to read. I know very little about the lives and theology of the Holy Fathers and what their exegesis is and this book has explained that very well, even making comparisons between the Holy Fathers to point out the differences. I recommend it to anyone with an interest in the Holy Fathers.

There are certain books and stories that have a sort of fullness in them, like you're seeing the whole picture where you usually only given a snippet. This is one of them. A masterpiece.

The coloration of the iconography printed on the cards is excellent and the cards are made of good quality heavyweight paper. Envelopes fit the cards perfectly and the cards were shipped on time.

Both inside and out, contents and materials, it is just what I was looking for.

Gave as a gift to a friend. She loved and said how beautiful it is.

This book is written the clear, gentle voice that is equally known and valued not just in his books, but on his blog, where he continues generously to respond to questions and thoughts with wisdom and grace.

Father Stephen shows how shame, a painful experience that most try to avoid, can become a pathway to knowing the healing love of our Lord Jesus. Even a person who is not Orthodox will be able to apply these lessons, though the Orthodox lens which he faithfully applies throughout is beautiful and full of depth.

Beautiful

Anthony Linderman is capable of showing the beauty of our world and His creation through the common events that take place in this uniquely holy place. He shares with us heroism of epic proportion and invites us to see our own lives with such importance in the grand scheme of God’s creation. Through the spiritual healing of a beloved cat, the humble beauty of God reaching vessels, and our natural drive to eat fish who may in fact desire to be eaten.

Today I purchased a copy of the AFPB in large print. It is wonderful! I usually pray in my living room where it is sometimes too dark (more candle light and less lamp light) to see smaller print easily. The large print in this prayer book should put that problem to rest. Many thanks!

Very nice religious assortment of beautifully colored cards

I order from Ancient Faith each year because…what could be more authentically Orthodox than our icons?! So beautiful and unique.
Beautiful every year! The (blue) Mother of God &. Child is lovely…heartwarming!

A suggestion might be to explore the work of iconographers and offer new selections.

The Merry Christmas cards are similar to any card that can be found at Walgreens or other store.

Most sincerely,
In Christ,
Jan

Beautiful Icon, with great attention to detail. Ideal for travel! In my opinion.
