102 Orthodox Saints
We start by reading about a Saint... and 45 minutes later, I'm trying to put the book away while all my children are saying "Just one more!". We all enjoy the layout/presentation and stories of these wonderful saints to encourage us each day.

Saint Paul the Pharisee: Jewish Apostle to All Nations
The Very Rev. Dr. Stephen De Young has written an excellent "contextual" perspective on the life of St. Paul and his epistles. As a convert to Orthodoxy, I often struggle with a protestant hangover that affects how I read the Bible in general and the Episles in particular. Reading the context of St. Paul's early life, encounter with Christ, and his subsequent missionary journeys, along with the interpretive translations of his epistles, helped me understand the perspectives of those times and the issues addressed by St. Paul in a way that was both refreshing and in lock step with how I have encountered them in the Orthodox tradition. This is a must-read for people struggling to obtain an Orthodox understanding of faith, works, salvation, law, grace, and other religious buzzwords that have been water downed, misunderstood, and decontextualized in the protestant worldview.

Among the Saints 3-Book Set (The Cross and the Stag, The Broken Wheel, Sands of Salvation)
I purchased these books for my grandchildren ages 10-13. They liked them and so did i. They are illustrated well and the story of each book was informative and kept you reading until the end. These saints are good role models.

Prayer Bracelet, adustable small knots with ICXC NIKA and 2 blue beads
It's very pretty, and my daughter loves it, but the knots came undone very quickly. We're trying to re-tie it, but it might be good to make them a bit more secure.

Akathist to the Mother of God: Nurturer of Children
Regardless of the age of our children, these prayers to the Theotokos are so uplifting and focused on what is most important to pray for in the development of our children’s souls. Knowing the Theotokos understands us and loves us in the parenting journey is very comforting! I have recommended this to several people who also have benefited from these prayers.
