I bought my first daughter 2 of these necklaces. Never experienced any teething issues. Just had my second daughter and bought hers. Bought one for my bosses daughter as well. I decided to buy my oldest daughter a new one as now she is losing teeth and getting adult teeth. It was too small for her, the measurements for 5 years are not accurate in my opinion. Probably need a petite adult for young kids.
