We are so happy with these nest boxes! They look nice and are well-made.

I won't labor the point. Just the facts. I've raised a lot of chickens in my nearly 80 years and have surely tried them all. I wanted something I didn't need to use straw or chips in...so messy and wasteful. After reading the reviews, some having issues getting the hens to lay in these boxes, I decided to roll the dice. The result: My backyard flock of Easter Eggers, Barred Rock, and Black Australorp...all jumped right in & by Day #3, all are acting like they always laid in the Best nest. No problems for me. Solid product made to last. Easy to assemble with simplified instructions and worth every penny. Just buy one. Don't take my word for it. What do I know?

Looking to purchase the larger version now because the small one worked so well. Easy to keep clean and the hens use this one every time. It's also so nice to collect eggs from the other side of the wall! Thank you for the quality product!

Wish I had bought one of these years ago clean eggs no pecked eggs this box is awesome best purchase I have made in a long time thank you best nest box I really need to buy another one for the rest of are flock great products

Easy to set up. The girls took to it just fine. The verdict is still out on whether it prevents food waste or not.

Works great been raising chickens for 50 years they would not go in at first so I put straw.
In the how and they started laying and I removed the straw. Everything worked great.

Super easy to assemble and install. Haven’t used it yet but I have a friend who loves hers after 5 years of use. Clean eggs that are never pecked. Looking forward to collecting my poo-free eggs!

Shipped in a timely fashion. Easy to follow instructions make assembly very easy. Product seems to work as advertised.

Well made and easy to put together.

It's so cute to see happy hens nesting together.
I Love the clean eggs!! It did take time to get them to cooperate with me and lay in the nest and not on the ground. But, all but one chicken are now always using the nest.

This really reduced how many dirty and broken eggs we were getting from the chickens. Fantastic invention! Initially we had a little trouble getting the hens to lay eggs inside it, but I did a little research and just put what we use for bedding (I’m talking straw, sawdust, or hay) and placed some of that inside the nest box, which made the hens immediately start laying in the box. As time has gone on we have reduced the bedding inside the box and they keep laying in there. Again, great box!

Works great.

I have 10 of these boxes for my flock. It was a big investment to replace the boxes I had but I could not be more satisfied with my decision to do so. Great design and engineering. My only issue with them is that there is no floor in the egg catchment tray other than the square mesh. I learned the hard way with my previous nest boxes that chickens can easily learn to peck eggs from the bottom of the tray. Once one chicken figures it out then all the others quickly catch on. I fixed this flaw by buying a roll of 14" flashing from the hardware store. I cut pieces to fit and riveted it to the bottom of the egg tray. Its working out exactly how I hoped. No pecked eggs what so ever. Eggs come out clean enough that 95% + don't need any washing or wiping down at all. I am a big fan.

Another note on improvement. The lid to the egg tray is flat enough that the chickens can easily stand on it when the roosting bar is folded up to close off the box. This is more of an inconvenience rather than a functional flaw. When I come to let the birds in the boxes in the morning I have to sweep them off in order to let the roosting bar down. Just something to think about

Set aside some time for assembly, tiny screws are all over but the finished product is nothing short of amazing! It took a couple of days and imitation eggs to convince our girls to use the nesting box, they took to it and the beauty of knowing the eggs are cleaner and safer. It was easy to hang on the cinderblock wall and much better than the ancient rusting one that was there. Thanks for a great product!

Very easy to assemble

Before installing the perch popper some of my girls would roost for the night inside the nest box and leave a mess that I had to clean out daily. After the install I rarely have anything to clean out. It was fairly easy to install and works great.

Very happy with our purchase!

Was easy to put together..good instructions..everything was there with nothing missing or damaged..will be hanging it in a new 10'x10' x8' high coop 👍

We have used this feeder for a few weeks now and have minimal waste on the ground. Very happy.

Have raised 11 hens and they are just starting to lay. Bought the best nest box and all but one are using it. I had to take the curtain off to get them to go inside and lay though. I loved how easy it was to assemble. Instructions were very clear
