We love our nest box, wish we had started with one years ago. I highly recommend it. I will only say one negative, the instructions to put the box together are perfect, it was pretty easy but there is no instructions about installing the box. You can find a couple videos online that help a little bit but for the most part your on your own. I think a few pointers on installation into the coop would be helpful. I've had chickens for 10 years now and to get nice clean eggs daily is just the best!!! With this box they can't get to them to eat them either another huge plus. Love the nest box!!!!

It was a pleasure to assemble the precisely machined parts of the Best Nest Box. Very easy and quick. The chickens have embraced laying their eggs in the box quickly with only a few misfires from the slow learners. Super clean eggs, no cracked shells. Wonderful product!

Clean eggs and no opportunity for them to be broken or eaten. If you have a problem with broken eggs or value the time cleaning them, this box can pay for itself in some amount of time.

Only down side is that some of our eggs are getting a small puncture from rolling into the wire tray. The wire where it’s bent 90deg at the edge of the mat is specifically what can crack a thin spot in an egg.

Overall, I would recommend it.

Easy assembly

My hens have refused to use the nest box. It's constructed well but I have yet to collect an egg from it.

Works well once the chickens felt comfortable in laying in it

These people were very helpful with all our needs. It took over a month for our chickens to get used to laying in the box but eventually they got there. We had some “show eggs” in there, took out one of the curtains for a while and we also put some straw bedding in there (I know it defeats the purpose of the eggs rolling down but at least it got the chickens in there and laying and then eventually we pulled the straw out). We are very pleased now but it did take a lot of patience and a little creativity.

Clean eggs. Hens started using it immediately. They have been able to peck the eggs from underneath 2x in 3 months but it's not a habit though. Assembly took a few hours but instructions were great. I actually put mine on the outside of a chickshaw to avoid closing the bar at night and having to re-open it in the am. It has worked great, I only had one hen want to sleep outside in it so I had to kick her out, clean the pad and close the bar for a couple nights and all good again. Thank you guys for having sales and fast shipping. Will get another and recommend to everyone.

I have lived on my little farm for 30+ years and in that time have kept pretty much every type of animal and fowl that anyone would expect to find there (and many that they wouldn’t). My farm was initially out in the middle of absolute nowhere so noises, smells and the occasional escapee were never a problem. Eventually, town found me and the complaining/contrary people who decided to “move to the country” and their massive houses began popping up all around me. As time has gone by, the complaints from my new neighbors and the effects of time on my old body have caused me to begin scaling back on what all creatures might be found be found on my farm, but one thing that has always been there and (if I have any say in the matter) always will be is my peafowl flock. My flock averages about 20-25 birds and normally are not a problem for anyone until breeding season comes along and then the birds begin to explore the loose neighborhood looking for space and nesting places. The neighbors love the males fanning and don’t complain too much about the extra noise of the males calling out, BUT they complain vigorously about the poop on their sidewalks, driveways and patios. I caution the complainers to NOT feed the birds and they won’t end up drowned in poop. This also means that I have to always make sure that the birds have ample access to feed at my place in order to keep them at home. I have bought, built and borrowed all kinds of feeders over the years that either encouraged rodent infestations, held too little feed or leaked when it rained and then I came across the CoopWorx chicken feeder. I was a little stand-offish at first because of the price, but I was intrigued by the reviews and unique design which kind of mimics a grain/feed silo. It arrived quickly and I was impressed with how tough it was made. I mean – you could hit it with a smaller tractor traveling moderately fast and I am sure that it would not open the feed chamber so hogs, bear and deer are no worry, except for the 4 legs which are replaceable. I’m pretty sure that the ground post mount would even stop most of that as the top has a lock hasp to secure it on if you think that it is needed. It does hold a whole bag of feed and so far I have found no wasted feed on the ground. I was a little concerned that the Peas might be not be able to figure it out right away, but my worries were immediately calmed when I set the empty bag down after the first fill and ALL 8 of the feed openings had a little tasseled head poked into them just pecking away. I am 110% satisfied with the unit and would encourage others to give it a try.

Eggs roll out clean and undamaged and hens went right to work

These are great quality and work great. Bought a 2nd one to add to my coop of 30 chickens

The shipping was fast this is my second I’ve added to my flock they work amazingly well

I love the capacity of how much this feeder holds. The chickens love it too. I love how you can adjust the height.

It was easy to assemble, and install in my coop. So far the birds are not laying in it as it is winter here. But I'm hoping come spring that will change. I was able to assemble and install in my coop in a couple hours, would have been easier with 2 people to attach to the coop, but can be done solo. It is sturdy and well built, no sharp steel edges. I can't wait for my hens to start using it properly.

Love the box, but it wasn’t the easiest to assemble.
Very happy with finish product. Built to last.

I purchased this nesting box as a Christmas present for my Dad's chicken coop. He has 24 chickens so I bought the medium size nesting box. We hung it up a week ago and the hens are slowly getting used to it. He put a thin layer of hay in the box and some chicken scratch on the perch to encourage them to go in. We have since collected five eggs from out of the nesting box,Yahoo! We are super happy with it and it's really easy to clean. I highly recommend this nesting box.

Received new nesting boxes Came damage they took care of it right away new ones what in 3 days

Couldn’t believe how fast it shipped. Easy to put together. The girls took right to it. Eggs are CLEAN and UNBROKEN! We ordered and received a second one already.

This is my eighth box and they work really well! The Perch Popper is working well.
Thanks Russ
