I am very hard of hearing so webinars and live conferences do not work for me anymore. The format of CPE express is the most effective for me.

This course was fantastic. The lectures are concise and understandable, with very excellent verbal explanations of the concepts. This is extremely important for a beginner in data analysis. The self-paced format allows you to perform exercises in EXCEL along with the instructor. The labs provide real-world applications of the formulas learned. This course is very hands-on and practical!

I completed these courses on November 30, 2018 and STILL NO DIGITAL BADGE has been provided as promised. AICPA customer service is horrible. WHEN ARE YOU PLANNING TO PROVIDE THE DIGITAL BADGE THAT I EARNED?

Very disappointed in product. I have taken several courses, completed the exams with passing scores and the system does not update my transcript with the CPE credits. I have to call or email the Support Desk to get the credits on my account. I am sure there are better products available on the internet.

I was unable to print the slides used in the presentations. That was both good and bad. As the presenters were essentially reading out the IC Guides and the standards, inability to print forced me to read them through. But I do not have any quick reference which, I hoped, the printed slides would be.

I did not take the traditional path through public accounting to arrive at a career in finance and I needed concentrated courses in not for profit accounting. After completing the NFP Certificate I, I wanted to obtain the additional technical knowledge offered in Certificate II. Each segment was challenging and relevant to my work as a finance director at a not for profit with a $3.5m budget. The courses provided links and references for in depth research, checklists, templates, etc. I experienced some difficulty (possibly with my browser) when working on the case studies, but was able to navigate around the problems. I'm looking forward to NFP Certificate III.

Course was enlightening, most of the app worked until it came time to "graduate" I completed all three days but for some unknown reason I have never received credit for the WHOLE package which would've given me the DIGITAL BADGE. Have called into help three separate times to solve this but the can is always kicked somewhere else. Five Stars for the great job in saying "too bad, so sad" and leaving me with nothing. I guess this problem is TOTALLY UNSOLVABLE BY THIS ORGANIZATION SO $600 was paid and the final product was never delivered. One star? Well all I can say is "TOO BAD, SO SAD!!!!"

The course was very good but did not prepare me at all for the examination. A substantial portion of the exam was on the funding of a college education which was only one of eight modules in the course. It is obvious that there was no coordination between the course and the exam. I have no regrets on taking the course but do on paying for the exam. It was a waste of money and valuable time.

I have completed other AICPA Certifcate Programs and this was the worst one yet.
* The audio quality is poor
* In some cases, the speakers appear to just be reading (and in some cases not well) the material
* the quiz questions were on material not covered at that point in the class causing me to go back and re-review material thinking that I had missed something only to realize that the concepts in the quiz questions were in material not yet covered up through that point in the course.
*There are programming errors throughout - some of the quiz questions have "Incorrect" or "Correct" after them on the question screen with the beginning of explanations for the answer. This content shouldn't be there as it gives away the answer and defeats the purpose of having a self check.
* When taking the online exams following each section, some of the questions were on material that were not documented in the slides themselves which resulting in having to go back and re-listen to a lot of the content.
* Since there is a comprehensive online exam to this certificate, it would be beneficial to have detailed text/materials to be able to review for the exam. As it is structured now, we only have abbreviated concepts on slides and essentially have to spend another 40+ hours re-listening to the material in order to prepare for the exam.

This course is not the level of professional quality that I expect from the AICPA and should have gone through more extensive quality control reviews before being launched. I'm not sure it is worth the price.

The course itself was great. Two things I would change.
1. The end of the chapter quizzes provide a basis for how well someone understands the material. There is not any feed back on the questions someone has missed. Thereby, they don't know what to review prior to the certificate final exam. They don't know what they don't know.

2. It is my understanding, and I have asked on several different formats questions concerning this issue. The only way to take the certificate final exam is to have a scientific calculator. I used excel when I took the chapter quizzes. I passed all chapters on the first try. I have not taken the final exam because I don't want to spend $100 plus for a calculator that I may use one time. I use excel in my profession and it has served me well. I probably will not take the final exam if they only way I can take it is to use a scientific calculator. I have asked co-workers in my office if they have a calculator I can borrow and I have asked my grandchildren if they have a calculator I can borrow. No one uses a calculator. Everyone uses excel or something equivalent to excel.

Updated Review: As noted in my original review below, my first try didn't go well. Luckily it was updated and now everything is working great for me. Support was also excellent, which is a plus. Here is my review after the update:

MyCPE Manager is a great solutions for any of us who appreciate an easy way to track our CPE credits. I used to use excel, and it was tedious, sometimes I'll forget to update, and it was time consuming. It also works incredible well for those of us that have to worry about specific types of CPE (like ethics) and have more than one jurisdiction to worry about. It links automagically with my CPExpress courses so it makes things simpler for me, since that's my main CPE course selection. I love the way it splits everything on each jurisdiction section too.

Another plus is the recommendation section, though I wish it had a way to find more CPE recommendations than just those shown (like a search option for free CPEs directly from the manager).

In short, I really like it. It meets my needs, it saves me time and gives me a bit of peace of mind. Plus it integrates with CPExpress so win-win.

Original Review: Seems like a great solution to keep track of CPEs and find available ones in the AICPA Store. The only problem is that it doesn't work at all. In the short time I was able to use it it was extremely buggy. The second time I tried to login it stopped working completely. Can't even login anymore no matter what workarounds I try.

Excellent webcasts, instructors and course material. I have been very impressed by all of the courses so far. Many varied topics and many address issues that have immediate practical application. Instructors give insight based on their own practices as to what will work with clients. Thank you AICPA, keep the high quality CPE coming!

Very poorly done. The format is basically clicking around on the screen to read the information. I could not locate a way to download the materials as a reference source for later. If you try to go back to review the information earlier in the module, it frequently crashes and you have to reload the session. I am very disappointed with the materials and would not recommend to anyone. Unfortunately, I still have a number of modules to complete. I am considering just stopping the program and letting the rest of the program expire. Don't waste your time and money.

EXCELLENT OVERVIEW AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE FORENSIC ACCOUNTING WORK, WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE LOOKING TO SPECIALIZE IN THIS FIELD.

Waste of my time! Spent more time taking my glasses off, panning the room and validating I was not cheating for the webcam test proctor than time spent taking the test.

My only wish is that I could get books for the certificate course. reading the material online with a busy schedule becomes tedious. I'm old fashion and like to highlight and write my comments when I read and for a course that is intense, I would prefer not having to sit in front of the computer to read and study.
