Great website and Great service

This was my first order with the Cakedecoratingstore and I found their website was the most comprehensive and easiest to navigate around that I could find. I was after some bun cakes and pretty sprinkles/glitter as a Christmas gift for my niece to go with a baking book. They were sent straight to her address and she was delighted when she opened her gift :)

Amazing servce!

I made my first order at 1pm on Friday and my order had arrived by 9am the next day, and this was only using standard delivery. The products are amazing quality, and the customer service was lovely. I have already placed a second order, and will definitely be using this company again!

It was the first time I've used cake decorating store to purchase items as I normally go to the high street, but I'll definitely go back. Great value for money, great delivery options and excellent product range. Website is easy to use and had no issues what so ever. Would highly recommend!

Fobbed off with excuses

I purchased some paper cupcake cases from this company, one of which was advertised on their website as a round, standard sized cupcake case.
When this product arrived, the tops of the cases were square and would not fit in my tin. I checked the website to be sure I hadn't made a mistake with my order and they were definitely round in the photo.

I have purchased round cases in square display boxes before and not had a problem. The cases had obviously expanded within the box (paper normally expands when exposed to moisture). I emailed a picture of the cases to CDS pointing out the problem, expecting them to refund the cost of the cases. This complaint was much more about the fact that they had shipped something that didn't match the description on their website rather than the £2.75 I'd paid for the cases.

The email response I received was laughable. The email suggested that the cases were 'that shape because they were supplied in a square box' (yet the photo on the website depicted the cases as having round tops, not square) and denied the fact that they had been exposed to moisture.

They haven't responded to my reply. I don't care about the money, it's more the fact they were happy to send out something different to the photos on their website and when I complained, the response was ridiculous. I wouldn't use this company again and I certainly wouldn't recommend them.

Great company with reasonably priced products and great customer service.

I would definitely recommend the cake decorating store. They have always had the products I need for some weird and wonderful cake designs and their prices are very reasonable. I have also had good experience with their customer service. I once received an incorrect item in my order and this was resolved very quickly with no hassle; I received the correct product the following day. Fantastic service!
