Excellent workout. Challenging yet very doable and attainable for mature women. I enjoyed the alternating rounds between unilateral and bilateral movements. I also liked that each exercise was only 10reps (the last round 8reps), it helped to focus on heavier weight. I Highly recommend.

I got this workout to complement STS (heavy weights and barbell workouts) as it works you in a very different way. And it does work you! I had very firey glutes!!
The first section is cardio with the band around your thighs, moves like puddle jumpers and firewalkers. The second part is floor work with evil pizza presses and hydrants. Definitely worth adding to your collection xx

I couldn't give it 5 stars because my hands and feet slip, so I have to put down a regular yoga mat over the top whenever I do yoga. Other than that, I love it. I exercise barefoot most of the time so it's nice having a large round mat like this one.

I really like Cathe’s ab workouts. This one is one of my favorites. It is challenging, yet really fun. I like the pace. I like that she incorporates compound moves and balance challenges. Each workout is different and challenges you in a different way. The workouts fly by and I feel I’ve gotten a really good workout. Highly recommend! Way to go Cathe!

I absolutely love Cathe Friedrich’s workouts! XTrain was no different. The only thing I didn’t love, was that every DVD that I completed from the X train series so far (four) has a flaw, and I miss anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes of the workout. I know no one uses DVDs anymore, and I wish I didn’t have to use them either, but Wi-Fi access is just not an option based on where I live. While 30 Seconds to 2 minutes is not really a big deal, and I can somewhat figure out the exercise even if I can’t access the track, it frustrates me.

Hi Tiffoni, I'm sorry you're having an issue with the XTrain series DVDs, but it doesn't sound like this is an issue with the DVDs. We've been selling the XTrain DVDs for 12 years and we've never had a person report a problem like you're describing, and we have sold thousands of XTrain DVDs from the same batch as you're using. If you were having a problem with just one DVD, then it very well might be the DVD that has an issue, but when you have an issue with at least 4 DVDs in the same set, then it sounds like a player issue instead. I would suggest trying on another DVD player if possible, and if not contact our customer service team at support@shopcathe.com if you can't test on another player and they can help you further. I'm also so curious if you're having an issue trying to play the main workout or a premix and where you're not seeing the 30 seconds to 2 minutes of the video.

This is nothing like I've ever done before! Such a feel-good workout! I love the innovative moves & the wonderful lengthening I get with this one! I LOVE this workout! It's very different from the straightforward weights or cardio. I love the creativity Cathe has with the bands. I definitely feel the working muscles differently & was sore the next day. The music is motivating & enjoyable & the crew is as well. As usual, Cathe's cueing is impeccable.
