I would give them 5 stars except I literally cannot get them off! The velcro grabs so hard & the band is so wide that I can't get them off. Putting them on & using them was great, but I live alone, & when I couldn't get them off, I almost panicked. Thankfully, I bought the regular lifting gloves, too, so I'm very happy with them!

Decent yoga workout. I love Cathe, but I do struggle a bit with her queueing during any of her yoga routines because it's so very "Fitness Instructor" style, versus a more straightforward yoga instructor approach (ie: queues like "breathe in, step to down dog, breathe out, come forward to plank". Instead Cathe has a lot of instructional chatter on form going on, which I don't care for in my yoga workouts). I enjoy Namaste series yoga workouts best, but Cathe's yoga DVDs can help round things out and break up my usual routine.

Cathe MicroLoad Adjustable Orange Weight Gloves - 1lb Each
I like the weight of these but the gloves themselves are uncomfortable; the finger holes dig into your fingers since the open palms leaves the weight pulling on your fingers & not as balanced/comfortable as they should be. I think I would like these better if the weights were incorporated into a full weight-glove and not in an open-palmed configuration with the finger-hole tabs bearing the weight. Sometimes I just turn these around and hold the weight side in my palms instead.

I really appreciate the real focus on lifting heavy and struggling through my reps alongside Cathe and her team during the upper body strength workouts. This is a great alternative to her STS system if that series seemed overwhelming. The 100 rep challenges are great, too.
I'm just in week 2 of the rotation and so far enjoying it. I haven't done the Super Cuts or Tabatacise workouts yet.
If there's anything I feel is missing from this set, it would be a traditional aerobic step workout without any emphasis on HiiT. Yes, HiiT has its benefits, but every now and then I need a break from all the intensity. Every cardio workout in this set has an emphasis on HiiT in one form or another, even the boxing/kickbox workout.
