Product arrived damaged. Upon talking to customer services, I was told that all of their stock is damaged. I asked them if they’ll be writing on the product description a comment that they’re not in mint condition but they ignored my comment.
I’m surprised that the company is not willing to actively describe the condition of their products (especially when selling collectables).

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear you are disappointed with condition of the presentation box. All items are checked for quality control before we dispatch all orders. This passed our quality control measures as we were satisfied that the item had not been damaged since it's arrival from The Mint in 2013 as we do not regard a light fingerprint on the box as damaged goods. The material of the black box does mean that finger prints can show up easily as is the case on the items left in stock as explained. We have offered a full refund and still awaiting a response from you as replacing stock in this instance would only lead to the same problem. I've been using Chards for over ten years now and I've always been very happy with the service. They're usually the cheapest too. A lot of competition has popped up in recent years but I want to see a proven history before using them... too many fly-by-night bullion dealers have given the industry a bad name. If you particularly want old coins, I believe they have the expertise and experience to spot fakes.

****-up buying silver 1oz coins; 9 emails received confirming payment received. In fact card payment didn't go through. Repeated the exercise by which time the cost had gone down by £25!. So not displeased.
