Wow. Sounds like you had a bad experience. Only one star for this great rifle? Sorry you have such a sour taste of your experience. We pretty much never get complaints on HK rifles, as they are just so hard to get, and great guns. The last thing I want to do is argue with you, but you have some statements that might need some clarifying, for one star on such a great gun. (1) We do have phone support every day, but alternate between early hours for east coast and late hours for west costs, and phones can get busy, but we do answer the phones. (2) I am not sure what the two parts comment is. I took a look, and we shipped your rifle in the factory box. One part, not two. We only separate that for California orders. I know we had a couple of CA HK orders at the same time as yours, so staff probably got confused. Either way, you got the right rifle in one part, and I sure hope you will be happy with it. (3) HK did stop shipping rifles with sights. We get so few, that we had not updated the pic, but the spec sheet did not show that sights were included. I hope you enjoy your rifle. I think we told you we could get the sights for you. They are Troy HK style. Come back when you are ready for a scope.

It is a real Colt barrel. Colt has not made barrels for a decade or more, but Su-co tracts to a handful of barrel makers. But it does not get Colt proof marks u til it passes Colt QC. SOP. No matter who makes it, it has to be up to Colt standards. Also, Colt stopped marking “F” on FSB as 99% of FSB are F height. Yea, we wish they kept it, but still Colt standards. This one came off a Colt rifle !!
