We generally recommend using these with 11.5" barrels, which gets you to 16.9", give or take, after the threads. We can explore a shorter length as well. 12.5" barrel would be just a bit too short. 12.7" would be needed, and nobody has than unless custom.

Geissele Super Duty Upper Receiver Group 14.5" Mk16 DDC 5.56mm, stripped
I ordered the 14.5” stripped URG from Charlie’s because I wanted to purchase from a small business. I ended up installing the Geissele Nano BCG, Geissele DDC Airborne charging handle, and Surefire Closed-tine flash hider. I mated the upper to a Silencerco SCO billet lower. The fit and finish on the Geissele URG is the best AR-15 upper I’ve ever handled. The nano coating is great against solvents when cleaning. You won’t regret your purchase.

THE LMT MK18 MOD 0 STRIPPED LOWER RECEIVER IS THE REAL DEAL. THE ENGENERING IS TOP NOTCH. IT’S SO NICE AND SMOOTH YOU ALMOST DON’T WANT TO USE IT.
