I bought a 5.5" flash hider to turn a 10.5" pistol upper into a 16" carbine upper. After having it pinned and welded I am very pleased with the results. I went with this flash hider over other similar ones mainly because this one had a pre drilled hole in the base to make the job quicker and easier.
Overall this is a good product. If I could change one thing I would like it to be thicker walled steel. Aside from that no complaints.

glad you are happy. Yes, we have a specialty shop handle pin and welds, and originally, you just could not see it at all. We had to ask the shop to make it somewhat visible. I think we offended them, but it is the best pin and weld work in the USA
