Do yourself a favor and don’t use this rail for your 12.5 build. I know it says 12 1/4, but you’re gonna want to trust me on this one. That said, the six screw lock up is serious stuff. Thinking about pairing it up to a VLTOR MUR upper with a bull barrel and pretending it’s a naval deck cannon.

I would probably not recommend this for a 12.5" build. The Block2 is a 14.5" barrel, which is the standard M4A1 SOPMOD design.

The AI rifle shoots incredibly well. Not sure why this was not chosen by the US Army. The kit is something really special, and thanks to Charlie for personally helping me in my selection. I use the .300 Norma and get great accuracy out to 1,500 yards. The .308 barrel is great for practice at the 300 yard range. Did I mention how special the kit itself is? A piece of history. Great service, great product, fast shipping, fair pricing. Don't forget to ask for a scope. There is some sort of deal going on with the scopes.
