I bought the Colt CR6920 from sportsman's wearhouse for $1,299 plus tax and fees. It ended up costing just north of $1,400. Now it is a decent quality rifle, but the features and colt branding do not justify the cost of the rifle. I bought a windham weaponry MPC for $900 and the two rifles are comparable so I'll detail the pros and cons between the two. Barrel on the Colt and windham are similar except for the twist colt is 1/7 windham is 1/9. Front sight post are identical neither are F marked, both barrels chrome lined. Both rifles have solid upper and lower fit. BCGs are similar on both, the Colt does come with a magpul MBUS flip up rear sight the windham comes with the carry handle. The handguard on the Colt is double heat shielded, the handguard on the windham is single heat shielded. The pistol grips are identical, buffer tube and butt stock on the windham is 6 position mil spec, on the Colt it is a 4 position commercial buffer tube and butt stock which is also about 1/2 an inch shorter. All in all they are very similar rifles and the Colt does not bring anything to the table that justifies the extra $500. Even the markings on the Colt lower have changed they no longer read M4 carbine. Simply reads " Carbine 5.56 MM". In my opinion you can get the same quality if not better on a far cheaper rifle. Colt is no longer what it used to be. I believe colt now sub contracts most of it's rifle parts.

The optic and mount have been good to me thus far, and the price was average. I do I wish it was a little more clear that the Wilcox mount is INSTEAD of the stock (typically included) mount, as opposed to in ADDITION to the stock mount.

I ordered the M4 stripped upper receiver advertised as missing the Colt cage marks, it's described as a take-off from a new M4. It also didn't have the M4 stamp at the front. Very nice classic Colt flat-top receiver, fits my 1994 Colt Sporter Lightweight perfectly and looks like it belongs on the gun except for the darker finish which was expected. I've ordered several times from Charlie's, always ships the right part and in quick fashion, excellent customer service! I have no doubt the upper receiver came off a newer M4, trustworthy company and I've heard others confirm the lack of markings is relatively common now with many Colt AR parts.

Like I said in my previous review. Item was shipped damaged and I sold it the day it arrived. Damage did not occur in shipping. The depth of the crack is unacceptable. I have no tolerance to wait for a refund and got a brand new one the next day from Larue. I would pass on this vendor in the future.
