I have not assembled it yet but it looks well built. Charlie’s kept in communication about once a week during the build process. Two reasons I give four stars instead of five at this time:
1) I have not shot it.
2) While the communication from Charlie’s after the order was adequate, it was a bit archaic. Their terms about when the upper were being built, picked, shipped, etc. are not that clear in terms of what happens when and how long it might take. I also felt that the website was misleading in terms of the item’s being in stock and ready to ship, versus being built with a lead time of several weeks. I would have ordered even if the website said there was a 5 or 6 week leadtime, but I did not expect that based on the language on the website. Bottom line: looks like good build quality pre-assembly and firing. Worth the wait, but the wait was longer than expected. Be patient. I do not see a reason why so many people claim this company doesn’t deliver. They just seem to be a small business doing their best. Give them a break.

Glad you are happy with the product. During this period of extreme order volume, we do our best with communication, and have been running behind our normal turn around time and have tried to let our customers know that. Sorry you found the commication "archaic" That is good feedback, but it is hard to be specific with each order when you are running behind in production. Bottom line: we can take people off the production line and communicate better, or we can take people off the phones and ship more. These are not normal times. From March to August of 2020, we have been running 2x to 3x the volume we normally do. So far, September is looking better, or maybe we are better prepared as we add staff
