There’s a reason why our U.S military went with Knight’s Armament. Fit and finish are perfect. Durability has been combat proven, decade after decade. This is the rail system which all others are judged by. Word of caution, MAKE SURE that you are running a Government spec barrel or thinner, as this rail will not install on an HBAR barrel. Luckily, this fit my other M16A4 clone. Highly recommended for your upgrade.

I have ordered two of these in total for a MK18 build. The first one didnt fit over the receiver extension properly, and after further investigation I found the hole in the endplate wasnt round, so it was hitting the threads of the receiver extension. I filed the “tooth” down a bit to compensate for this and all was fine. The second one I ordered fit with no issues.

Colt tactical front sling, side swivel mount
Worked as advertised on my A2 HBAR making my 2 point sling attachment easy and straightforward. Installing the second roll pin does require 3 hands, but creative use of Vise Grips solved that issue. Mounts tight around the HBAR barrel, no rattling or looseness. Overall very pleased with the product, get the swivel pre-riveted, worth the extra money to make life easier!

it is a little tricky. A long roll pin punch makes it a lot easier.

glad you like it. We were waiting too long for the KAC part, so we are rolling our own. Our Cerakote guy is going to be busy, as we have a number of orders. We are also using Duarcoat on some. Different products. One bakes on in 30 minutes, the other takes 3 weeks to cure, but they both work nicely.
