Many users are replacing an existing grip, so the grip ships without a screw and washer, which would add cost for those who do not need it. This is a decision by B5, and we do make grip screws and washers available to those who need them.

The rail stays firm on the handguard.
It's great for attaching foregrips and sight.
It works at the bottom but not the top of the handguard. The gas pipe get in the way, so don't try to buy two and expect the rails to mount on the top and bottom.
