The fit and finish is outstanding. This is a beautiful rifle and collector's item. Once I took possession of the rifle I field stripped it and inspected it. The KAC M4 RAS rail has a manufacture date of 4-20-2017 so it is new stock. The Colt SOCOM 14.5" barrel has a manufacture (stamp) date of 12/17 also new stock. The BC marked "C" and Bolt marked "MPC." The roll marks came out pretty well with the first letter on each row not being quite as deep as the rest of the letters but are legible.

I bought this flash hider for my ddmk18, for that socom look, knights armament makes some hard core heavy duty stuff ment for battle and to be beaten up lol anyone looking for that look on your mk18 or blockii build trust me skip the surefire 3 prong which I also own because I can’t find the sf4p anywhere and there not cheap if you find it lol Charlie’s prices are very fair me as a clone lover, this site couldn’t get any better! Yes I wish my mk18 was all colt besides the barrel lol but you can’t beat Daniel Defense you can but it doesn’t get much better, my dream would be the 2018 colt socom lower the new one and a mk18 upper with a colt receiver. That would be one bad ass build for clone sake lol I run a xps3 and g33 magnifier, also have the tan 553 eotech for clones sake lol

Item was as described and pictured. This is a great option for any AR pistol, SBR, or MK18 MOD 1 clone project. Barrel was in perfect condition as was the RIS II barrel nut (how they didnt mark up the barrel but I have no clue).

Ever since I left AD I've wanted to own a carbine that closely resembled what I carried with 3d Recon and 4th Force. I started out with a couple of old school Law Enforcement Carbine LE 6920s and finally got the FN M4 Collector's Edition. Great guns but not US Govt marked. Except for the muzzle brake, the obvious semi only and no "W" serial number prefix, this is as close as it gets. This carbine is not scuffed up as you'd expect from Colt and fit and finish is good. If you served prior to 2010 which is when I got out, this carbine doesn't have the "C" stamp on the barrel or the upper receiver and it lacks the "F" mark on the A Frame (although the frame is the right height). The bolt carrier lacks the "C" stamp on it but from research it looks like Colt is not stamping them anymore. The bolt still has the MPC markings on it. The buttstock is a newer style that has Colt and P&S's cage codes stamped on it. It has the factory KAC rail setup and a QR matrix on the lower receiver. The accessory pack has a manual, 4 extra KAC rail panels and a GI aluminum Colt 30 round magazine. No KAC vertical grip came with mine but I don't care as I have a few new ones and to be honest with you, for what I just took into my possession, it's the least of my worries. If you served in the Al Anbar from 2005 to 2010 and carried an M4A1 this is as close as you can get without being a dealer or breaking the law. Charlie's thanks for the good customer service!

Overall quality is great. Definitely made for use on real AR15s, not the airsoft type. Best part is, it cost way less than the Norgon brand with the same quality
