OCM5 Suppressor - AEM5 clone from Otter Creek Labs
I haven’t used it yet as it is in NFA jail till the tax stamp comes back but the fit and finish and of this suppressor is superb. It is true to the original ops/Allen Engineering design. Can’t wait to see what the coyotes think of it on the business end of my Mk 12 build!

You should be happy with it. We have discontinued the OCM5, but your comments are a testimony to those who said we did not have it in stock. For new customers, we are happy to share that we are getting more and more Allen AEM5 suppressors in.

California Firearms Processing
My package arrived, but I am curious why CCC has an additional handling fee for CA residence? An FFL charged me taxes and state fees which makes sense. I asked my FFL why this additional CA processing fee was necessary… we were both confused.

Ryan, the CA processing fee is described on this page. Since you purchased a firearm, CA has a different process for firearms, including getting permission from the CA DOJ to ship the firearm to your dealer. This is why so many online dealers will not ship to CA. We took the opposite approach and trained our compliance team on how to work with CA rules. CA processing is totally different from other states, so we have to put CA firearms aside for manual processing, and that takes time and we lose productivity in our work. We pass along a very modest fee for dealing with increased communication, getting the DOJ letter, making sure it is included with other ATF paperwork, making sure what we send to your dealer is allowed in California, etc. Most of our CA customers are very happy that we take the time to do this, so that you can make the purchases that you want. Again, this page walks you through the how and the why, which we do in detail so that you are not confused.
