Colt M4A1 SOCOM lower receiver "Property of US Govt" marked, stripped
The description that is provided on the website is not as accurate as it should be. I received a lower that was not 2018/19 or even 20. It was 2022 after CZ acquired colt. No change to the capability, but I wanted a receiver that was made when colt was still a US company. The website said it was in stock, but it wasn’t. Customer service assured me it would be pre CZ acquisition, but it wasn’t. Also, just so everyone knows, the Colt website considers these lowers “replicas” so I would just recommend getting a colt lower with a LE SN# and roll marks. You essentially spend more for a lower that looks cool. Other than that, it’s a nice lower and functions as intended.

Ryan, our description shows that this is a laser cut 2021 style, and the picture is accurate of the 2021 / 2022 style receivers. I would agree that the 2018/2019 had a different style, but I think we did a reasonable job or telling you what to expect. I think you will enjoy it quite a bit. And we are one of the few firms to ship to CA.

Great looking rifle terrible shooting rifle though. Sent back to manufacturer and they wouldn’t properly test the rifle and Charlie’s wouldn’t let me return it for a refund. Manufacturer shot 31 yard groups that were not sub moa and wouldn’t fix the issue so I’m stuck with a pos rifle that cost me 2200.00 that can’t shoot sub moa or even close thanks lol

Richard, I think we did everything we could to work with you and the manufacturer. The manufacturer has a good reputation of building rifles and uppers. Once the rifle is transferred to you, any defects are part of the manufacturer's warranty and not something you return to us for a refund. The manufacturer has advised us that the rifle was tested to shoot under 1 MOA. Sorry, you are having issues. My guess is you will enjoy the rifle.
