I used the beta version, so I realize the product is still in development. I used the quick claim deed form to remove my former spouse from my home’s deed. I printed it out, had it notarized, and tried to file it at my county’s court house. Everything was correct, except the form did not include the tax exemption code. This meant that without the code, instead of paying $23, I would have to pay over $1300 in taxes. The people in the deed recording office were not allowed to tell me the code, so I had to do online research, and several trips back into the court house to figure out the exemption code. Exemption codes for each state need to be included in order for this product to be sold. The form was mostly right, but missing just enough to make things a hassle.

Thank you for using DeedClaim, Glen. The reason "it downloaded three pages" is because it took three pages to get all of the legally required information on the deed, as well as because there are multiple owners signing the deed (which adds spaces for signatures and notary block). I am not sure why you think you need a one-page form, but if you can let us know what legally required information you would like us to remove, we may be able to do that. It is unfortunate that you left a one-star review based on nothing other than the page count, which it sounds like you are confused about.
