My husband and I purchased the Educator ET-300 Mini direct from educatorcollars.com in January, 2018. Our 4-month-old Boxer badly needed socialization and exercise, but we could not let him off-leash with the other dogs at the park because he would run off to greet everyone he could see, scare adults and children who were afraid of dogs, would not come for anything, and we were afraid he would get to the street and be hit by a car. We took him to puppy class and tried various training methods but he would not listen to us when he was having fun with his buddies.

We had used an e-collar years ago with our first dog, to prevent him picking up things, swallowing them, and making himself horribly sick. Once again, this humane device "made sense" to our dog and he caught on right away that when he felt the shock he needed to turn around and Come Now! After a week, I rarely have needed to use the shock because he responds to the vibration. He will peal off from the pack and come happily back with no problem.

I chose this collar from the many available for the following features: assembled and serviced in the USA; batteries user-replaceable and inexpensive; 1/2 mile range; rain- and mud-proof; wide, comfortable collar; points available for short coat-length; 2-year warranty; wide range of stimulation settings and options.

We use the unit daily and have not had a single problem with it. Amazed how seldom it needs charging! Have not been this satisfied and happy with an important purchase in a long time.

Love love the fact that we can use one controller for both dogs. We adopted a young dobie but already have a 2 year old. Was crazy plugging in and keeping up with 2 separate controllers and they were different kinds so we all were staying confused. Product is great and love that our new little girl could have a pink collar. Thanks so much!

The product should be shipped with the needed wench to install even if you have to charge for it

Great training collar.?

The quick snap collar is much easier for our dog and us. Take your time installing the receiver on the collar and you won't have any trouble.

Worked like a charm! This collar was recommended to me by a trainer who runs a rescue. I had been afraid to use an e-collar before because I had read that they were inhumane. The trainer explained this isn't a "shock" collar. It's like stim that is used in physical therapy. It just feels weird. It's not painful. My rescue Doberman was an incessant barker. She barked twice with the collar on L-2 and that was all it took. I don't have it on her 24-7; only when we are riding in the car because that's where the constant barking happened.

It makes easier to train with my distracted dog. The shipping was fast and the customer service was awesome.

I love this e collar so much. I was working my dog on a dogtra e collar before the mini educator, and I very much prefer the mini educator. It’s great!

Works fantastic. Love the wide range of intensities depending on the attitude of the dog.

I ordered both a new charger and a replacement transmitter from e-collars. The charger was fine but I THOUGHT they had sent me an incorrect transmitter. I emailed and got a response but it didn’t solve my problem, so I called EARLY the next morning and got a representative on the line that walked me through the entire process. Very quickly I had a working transmitter and two collars just in time for morning feed chores! Thank you!!! I have two collar systems; one for the “stubborn mix” who is not ready for farm work, and one for the working dogs outside. I use the vibration mode to alert them when they are straying too far from me. Safe and effective; I think I had to use low stimuli once when a deer was in the pasture. The stubborn pup is learning (with vibration) to listen and will someday be a good “worker” but for now she’s just not quite ready for prime time on the farm.

Items arrived very fast, with instructions supplied had collars up and running again very quickly. Great support staff!

Though I’ve only had the unit for two weeks it seems to be working well except for the fact that the belt clip attachment broke seems to me it will be made of metal instead of plastic .

I have a big boy male 6 month old Malinois.
Max understood the language of the Educator immediately.
Very Low settings is all ever used or needed.
I was contemplating if a stronger model, Boss etc was needed.
Definitely not.
The E-400 is a Great Unit and Tool in Max's Education.
Company back-up support is A-1!

Great product, gives much more contact for poodle coats

I received this product for training my English Setter exactly when I was promised. Superior e collar which has made all the difference training my energetic setter. I love the choice of settings as well as the variety of communication options. The charge lasts for a good week and my pup is much happier with this collar. ME TOO!

The Mini Educator has worked wonders for our BMD. She listens and obeys commands like a dream. Misplaced her controller. Ordered a new one had it in 2 days. Will use them with future dogs for sure!!!

Great product with great customer support.

The best training collars on the market. They really thought everything through with this collar.

Great replacement for the charger. Works great!

Great concept for dogs and helps my malinois a bunch!! Thanks so much!
