Have been a Dogtra user for 15 years and have always been pleased. Recently decided that I wanted to try something different to make sure there wasn’t a better option I was missing out on. I have been very pleased and love the way the receiver feels in my hand and the flashlight option is awesome! I plan to order the Boss 2 dog system very soon!

Just bought my third. First one was about 5ish years ago. Second one I bought for a friend. That one took some chewing abuse, but still working. Most recently I busted the knob so I can’t change levels on my original one that is around 5 years old. Other than that it still works. The only thing I don’t particularly like is the collar band, but I removed that and replaced it with a snap buckle collar.
My border collie likes it too. She gets excited when it comes out. Mostly use it for reminders to not chase cars when out for walks now.

I purchased the ET-800 collar to train a brown wolf dog who had serious resource guarding issues. After being bitten numerous times, he finally started respecting the collar and responding to the shocking. After 3 weeks, he's finally a wonderful and well-behaving dog!

Great product which was recommended by our dog trainer. After a small glitch in remote and collar, we contacted company, who immediately responded by sending us a replacement. Definitely helps with the training of our new puppy.

We purchased the ET-300 for a very specific reason. Our 3 year old Doberman had a serious foot injury. After it healed she began licking her foot in other places causing severe hot spots, even with a cone and sock on. We researched E-Collars and Educator Collars were the highest rated. I spoke with an extremely helpful sales representative and he suggested this collar for our needs. After only using the instructed methods a few times she has left her foot alone 90% of the time. If she licks it all we have to do is say No Lick and she leaves it alone. She’s well on her way to recovering. 🐾

Had to use it training the puppy not to jump on cats, chase cars, and bark for no reason. Working great. I do mainly use it on vibrate. I wish accessories were cheaper.

Educator Magnetic Anywhere Clip
Ive used the magnets for 2 years now I love the hands free when walking my berniedoodle. The only thing I’d say is that you need to GLUE the metal screw into the back of the receiver because( I know this) it will get loose and the receiver will fall off of your hip. One time it happened and I lost the receiver due to someone apparently finding it. So… save yourself the hassle use superglue!

Educator Replacement Skins - ET-300-Blue
I sent my puppy to Dog Wizard. They use Educator Collars. In 3 weeks Skeeter was beautifully trained to heel, sit, lie down and place. And it made it so easy for me to keep it up. I. Believe in Dog Wizard and Educator Collars. My other dogs have them too.

too heavy for small dog

Educator ME-300 Micro
We purchased this unit for our 10 lb. Yorkiepoo expecting a very small device as it appeared from the description. Our previous unit kept shifting out of place due to its weight. Unfortunately, the Educator collar was actually heavier. The only way to keep the collar in place was to tighten the collar to the point that it threatened to choke our dog. Small breeds have underdeveloped cartilage in their tracheas and are prone to partial tracheal collapse. Tight fitting collars should be used cautiously. The unit looked well made but we did not use it due to the weight/fit so cannot comment on its performance. I would happily trade shorter battery life for a lighter/smaller unit.

I purchased a lesser quality collar from a popular online retailer. It was terrible and it shocked my dog when it was supposed to be locked. The quality of my Educator Collar is much, much better in function and operation.

Educator ET-800 The Boss
I had a different e collar for my last dog and it worked great on her but my new dog didn’t respond as well. He was great with that collar so long as there were no other people or animals around. If there were, he would just continue doing whatever he wanted regardless of the stimulus level. What I love most about The Boss is the tone option and the longer prongs. He’s a golden and has thicker fur so the longer prongs help but what really surprised me is how well he responds to the tone! I tried him out last week off leash on a river hike and he was perfect!! He came back to me every time and I only had to use actual stimulus maybe 5 times on a 2.5 hour hike with all kinds of different distractions! Best money I ever spent because now I have a super well trained dog! Such a relief!

Educator RX-070 Micro Receiver Collar
I decided to purchase the micro receiver so that my smaller dog would have less weight around his neck. I easily paired the receiver to my mini educator remote and set it up the same as the x-90 receiver. I would recommend this receiver for any smaller dog.

With so many batteries on the market at low cost and low quality it is good to have a source for a quality battery at a good price.
