Educator ET-302 Mini
Pretty great product. Allows me to take my huskies off leash in the woods! It's a great way to communicate with my dogs and allow them a better life. The biggest pet peeves: 1) the learning process.... the tool itself is very hard to learn how to use and is not user friendly or intuitive. It would be easy to make this product much easier to use and 2) once in a while, the collar falls off of my dogs and I think the design could incorporate some type of fail proof system for it not to fall off, like an extra snap on lock or something. Lastly, I wish you could incorporate wifi or a GPS system for these tools, or that there was an app that connected to your phone so you could see their location. This would be helpful for many reasons, mainly being to find a dog if lost and to find the collar if lost. Overall though, a LIFE CHANGING product!!

I bought an Educator Collar for my Rhodesian Ridgeback about two years ago for recall when he’s off leash. All contact with staff for questions has been very friendly and they are eager to answer my questions.

Educator E-Fence Self Installation Kit
I’m really impressed with how fast my dogs learned their boundaries. I’m relieved that I don’t have to watch them like a hawk everytime they are outside. The E fence was a very easy installation and it’s a quality product. I also own the mini educator collars that are not compatible with the fence. That is also a good quality product

Easy to use and adjust on the fly. Elastic band makes collar more comfortable for dog but not as durable. We have 90 acres that is mostly timber with deep ravines. Distance line of sight from one end of the property to the other is 0.75 mi. Cannot transmit from one end of property to the other, only about half way. Haven’t tried in a flat open area.

I do like the electric collar itself. I don't think everyone should throw out the instructions and watch the Leerberg collar on YouTube to learn about the collar. I also bought the bungee collar for ease to put on and ensure proper fit. I do not like the buckle that it has. I have had collars with these buckles and they can come off. A proper buckle would also hold the strap from flying straight up in the air. I took pictures with my dog wearing it and the included buckle and a proper buckle, but I don't know how to attach them.

Educator Li-Po-3.7V-400 mAH - Replacement Battery
This company is great. We have had our Educator for about 5 years. They have helped several times with getting parts fixed. It may one of the more expensive e-collars, but it is definitely worth it. Training was not easy and we did 2 levels of e-collar training classes with a professional, but it has been well worth it. Our dog has perfect recall(we were not getting results from the other training methods we tried first, our dog has never been food motivated)We continue to use the collar after 5 years, but we very, very rarely need to activate it. Our dog is better behaved when she has the collar on. The difference is having to call her name once vs 3 or 4 times when she is out in the woods, out of sight.

Educator Li-Po Battery 3.7V 300 mAH - Replacement Battery
Batteries arrived as irdered. Interesting that one of the original batteries in the reciever was different than the battery in the second receiver (pro 900 double box) and that was the one that was failing. Replaced them both (requires a T-10 Torx head screw driver) and all is well.

We were so impressed with the results with our dog that we gave one to our son for his young dog as well. We like that often it is only necessary to put the collar on for it to be effective. The dogs understand that having it on means to listen to us and do what we are asking! Now we rarely have to even use the vibrate and almost never have to use the tens "S" buttons. It has stopped our retriever from charging manically after squirrels into the busy road by our house.

I've been working with my dog using this collar for a couple weeks now. It is important to me that my dog has snappy, reliable recall. I've made great progress since incorporating this took in our training.
