Very reliable collars. Have for both dogs and they both respond well to them. I also love the light so you can see where they are at night!

Only reason it’s not 5 stars is that after six months the battery in the collar only lasts 3days

This collar fits perfectly! I dropped my dog’s old E-collar on tile just right to break the clasp so I was glad to find this replacement!

Quality product, easy to use. Love that it is waterproof.

Exactly what I needed to keep my dogs collars and remotes color coded. Skin was easy to install and shipped really fast.

Overall I’m happy with the product results but I do have some criticisms. Firstly, the control device looks cool but is overly complicated, I have no idea what mode I’m in 99.9% of the time. And secondly, the battery life in the actual collars is quite short and disappointing. I had cheap Chinese Amazon collars that could stay charged for weeks. Having said all that, the product is clearly made well with quality materials.

These contact points work for my lab/golden retriever mix who has long hair when the ones that came with the collar would not. They also do not bother his skin. Thank you!

The educator collar has been a disappointment to me. I have had a couple of issues with the collar the first issue is the collar has been snap and for no reason has come undone. I've been right there to pick it up but I know the collar was securely on my puppy neck. The second issue is it can be difficult to snap the collar on. I have a prong collar as well. The prong collar stays in place and it's easy to snap on and take off. The educator had not only come off with me but also my husband.

After building good basic training skills our leash reactive terrier would still react while on leash with other dogs. This collar was a game changer. It is a reminder to him to make a good choice and de-escalate. We still have room to improve but it has been a pivotal tool in his training.

This is our first time using a e collar so we hired a trainer. It has been a life changing experience for our young GP mix he is now able to safety hike off leash with us. It's been a wonderful experience

Excellent trainer. Its a little frustrating to have to sync the collar when you use it ?

Excellent product and support with the manual. The only problem I had with it is quite a bit of a difficulty pairing two units before putting the car along with my dog. It's very tricky and sometimes takes five minutes to work out other than that it's a really fine design and seems to be starting to worry using it to limit her parking while outside in the yard.

Battery life is amazing, significantly better than the Rx-90. LOVE being able to turn it on and off with a button and having the remote already paired each time.

Educator -400 E-collar is one of the best investments any leashed-dog, dog owner can make. After month of videos, research, first-hand experience w/friend’s rambunctious salvation/lab, and Evan Doggett tutorials - purchased the “400”. Adopted Sadie, 9 yr old, female lab, whose only outdoor activity was spent in a 20x 12 dog pen. 9 years! “If indoors” 50% she was in a crate. Needless to say, she was starved of freedom, overwhelmed by the tsunami of wild scents (2 acre- woodsland surrounded by crop farms & poultry houses, squirrels, deer, turkeys & neighbors hunting dogs (penned) but barking & wagging scents were a distraction.
Plus, I had Mom & 4 feral kittens, I just had fixed and concern for their safety. (Never had a cat - owned 14 dogs).
I followed E Doggett’s training techniques best that I could. I say “invested in” 400 bc you do need to invest time in training- actively & downtime commands, zones, “no go”, “ok”, stay, heel, leave it, drop it, ahhh (stop whatever) feeding, collaring etc. 400 easy to follow guide to determine what is most effective. Tone, Level, momentary/or/cintiuous.
As a border line, in addition to flags (dogs don’t see red)- I fill squirt bottle w Tea Tree Essentidl oil, ammonia, water- squirt a line 15’ from border and again 10’. The scent remains for quite a while - even after rain - repeat this about 1x a week (while leashed) walk the border. When Sadie crossed 1st line (on leash) - tone & pull back, heel. After about 2 wks she got it but still challenged instruction. Repeat-squirt- command- tone if not obeyed. Tone was very effective close range. Off leash @ 200’ - found level 7 got her attention & return. After 3 mos, although, Sadie stayed close to me, Sometimes she was out of my view(behind car, she’d, bushes, etc. I added two 2” cow bells to collar - now I have a short range tracker as well! She doesn’t notice bells and knows she is going outside as soon as I pick up her collar.!
… I charge overnight, out of precaution. Haven’t monitored how long holds a charge bc I don’t want to find out after she bolts a squirrel that it is not charged.!

Collar and transmitter batteries work great. Easy to replace. They do not come with double stick foam to keep them in place so u will need to salvage the foam that is stuck to the old batteries (not the easiest task) or get a suit le replacement. Should be included IMO.
