Bronwyn responded promptly and guided me through my first experience. I did not know my full responsibilities mainly because I did not read all the correspondence. It is a learning curve. I am happy with the service so far.

Great service with incremental communication as the plan evolved over a short period. All identified flights (in business class) were available for booking when I did that step.

My consultant was very helpful & responsive during the process, and he did put in lots of work to this - however I am unsure if I would use the service again.
Had expected a different level of creativity in the options or solutions offered & also I could see greater availability as a Plat than it appeared my consultant could see (a particular Santiago flight that was not available to Peter but I could still see).
Certainly a good service & I would recommend for beginners - not as helpful for people familiar with the options unless you’re time poor, or looking for seperate verification on the options you’re planning to take.

I had a lot of trouble redeeming points directly with Velocity to get 2 J tickets to Europe for my honeymoon - so had a lot riding on getting a redemption! FF Solutions made the process easy. I was sent a report with 3 different options to consider and booked tickets using their instructions without any fuss. This is a great service and I will use again.

I highly recommend using the Award Flight Assist service. Lance was fantastic in getting the flights that we wanted for our RTW trip next year, and gave us several options to work with. Everything was easy to comprehend and service was very prompt. Couldn’t have done this on my own so well worthwhile !

I absolutely loved my experience booking our RTW honeymoon in business using Frequent Flyer Solutions. And that’s all thanks to the wizardry of James :-)
Firstly I’d like to think I was already pretty knowledgeable re booking flights, itineraries and understanding the One World stable of carriers, but now having used this service and knowing what I know now, competing for Business Awards seats in the peak of European summer adds a whole new level of complexity. I sure am grateful I called in the expert (James!) because he not only clearly navigated me through the process of booking the flights I wanted, but he also threw in so many creative ways to do it. I took up a number of his suggestions that maximised the use of points and ultimately got us into some of the nicest business cabins on offer whilst visiting new places we hadn’t even considered before. He definitely went above and beyond in ensuring I understood the process and could go forth with options that gave us the very best chance of flying in total comfort and meeting our travel goals.
My tips for anyone looking to also find success with this service:
⁃ don’t hesitate, book! but while you’re there also learn from the expert (James was really fascinating to follow along with as I picked up lots of little tid bits and inside knowledge that gives me greater confidence to book my own simpler itineraries in future)
⁃ have a clear plan, then a few backup plans and be open to change. I wasn’t passive in the formulation of the flight brief.. be clear of your ‘musts’ and ‘optionals’ and where you might have flexibility in your schedule. Be as detailed as possible in what you want to achieve and let the experts work their magic in showing you how to get there, and if necessary a few other ways to get there too. If a country falls out of the plan, be sure to consider a few backups that you wouldn’t mind substituting with.. securing awards seats is largely dependent on how quickly you can nab them, so working through some options before then means you can switch plans on the fly
⁃ research and participate. I didn’t rely solely on James to tell me when seats would open up (he always did, of course) but I’d schedule these dates in my phone and would check in with him in the lead up to see if we’re on track. Even ahead of those dates I’d jump onto the Qantas website and play around with the multi-city tool with pretend dates, to get a better feel for what carriers go where and the rough frequency and indicative award seat availability so to manage my own expectations too. I’d test my knowledge and assumptions with James and he was always willing to share his wisdom. I was probably a bit annoying but he was very accommodating. When it came time to book, James always sent through a really clear outline of flights and dates which makes the booking process very easy, particularly when dealing with an array of call centres and agents. We often exchanged texts whilst I was on hold, mainly reassurance for me!
⁃ be nice to the call centre agent. I’m sure a lot of people forget that the fate of your holiday plans aren’t only in the hands of the Frequent Flyer experts, but also the call centre agent on the other line. Yes it’s an awfully tiring experience being on the phone for that many hours.. but keep your wits about you and your perspective in check as the outcome from this is for you to experience an amazing holiday that so many people aren’t able to do in their lifetime. Be polite, be organised, run through the plan if you need with your expert (mine being the amazing James) and try to be as helpful as possible as it will pay dividends. I was fortunate enough to be connected through to an amazing Qantas agent in South Africa and I’m convinced it made a HUGE difference in working through the arduous process of the RTW fare and also securing 99% of our business seats in one go. The support and expert advice of your frequent flyer expert gets you to this point, but the rest is with you and the airline to execute.
In summary we wouldn’t have been able to book the amazing bucket list honeymoon we did without the constant guidance and support of James. James and I have exchanged over 100 emails, texts, long phone calls etc. He well and truly went above and beyond and I'll miss bantering with him over this trip now that our flights are locked in. If we are so lucky we’d be thrilled to call upon him again in a couple of years’ time to do it all again!

Flight advice report definitely worth the fee - very prompt, very thorough and easy to comprehend. My husband and I wanted advice on using FF points to fly Melb/Zagreb/Milan/London/Melb in Business Class and had no idea how to go about it. The report we received presented 3 route options, detailing all the flights involved, how many points required and charges/taxes to be paid. We chose option 1 (Melb to Zagreb via Singapore & Doha/Milan to London/London to Tokyo via Finland/Tokyo to Melb. We booked flights 1-6 via Qantas website, a little fiddly but we got there finally! We had to wait to book flight #7 as it wasn't available until today, we rang Qantas as it was an add-on to our Oneworld Classic Flight Reward. We are very excited that we now have all our flights booked - all Business Class and flying Qantas/Qatar/BAA/Finnair/JAL!!! Total cost for 2 people was 636,000 pts + $2920 AUD. We will be away for exactly one month and thank you so much Bronwyn at FFS for your very thorough report and recommendations - we couldn't have done it without you!

Bronwyn was excellent, providing plenty of good options for what proved to be a challenging request.
I thought the whole process was great value for money and I would have no hesitation in recommending this service to others.

I was booking 2 days before the award points needed went up by 9% so clearly a busy time for Qantas. However, confirmation of bookings did not come through by email as stated on booking. I was also requested to ring because I had left middle names off the booking details. I rang and was informed of a 3.5 hour wait and I could get a call back about that time. I did get a call back and waited 15 minutes having been told I was first in the queue and then it rang out. I tried to ring later but the wait time was considerable with no call back option. The next morning I tried calling and a message stated I could leave a text message. I did and the young woman that rang me back after 7 am was very helpful and apologetic. Their computer system and staffing levels are not good enough to manage an influx.

I thought the service was pretty good, Lance was especially helpful.
Not sure the First class surcharge is warranted as work effort is the same.
Fairly expensive and would only use if I was time poor or unsuccessful myself in searches.
Only real drawback is that you are only presented with one option.
Key to a good experience is your trip specification.

I was o pleased with the service- much smoother and easier than I thought for a complex round the world itinerary. The wonderful woman on the phone helped me so much also in finding flights and was very friendly and patient.
I couldn’t have had better service.

Highly recommend Award Flight Assist. Bronwyn was able to suggest an airline we hadn't even considered and we were successful in obtaining Business Class flights with that airline on the date we wanted. Thanks Award Flight Assist you are well worth the money.

after persevering trying to make a complex Oneworld RTW award flight through the Qantas multi city booking site and waiting on the phone for a Qantas rep for up to 4 hours and failing to receive call backs and starting over and over and over again, I contacted Bronwyn at FFS and she was just fantastic even though we never spoke to each other communication was via email and it all finally worked. Fentastic service and if I was starting again I would not hesitate to plan with FFS. Thanks Bronwyn. PLO/ADL/HKG/PEK/HEL/FCO/CUN/DFW/TYO/TEI/HKG/ADL/PLO

I want to let people know what a stellar job Bronwyn did in organising our 2 business class Sydney Europe return tickets with OneWorld. After ensuring she knew what our preferences were, she put together a number of options for us.
When I tried to book the preferred flights through the Qantas website I was unable to do so. Qantas help line were anything but helpful and told me I couldn't make the required bookings. I emailed Bronwyn late that night with the bad news and undeterred, she responded with alternative flights at 1:30am!!!
I was able to book the flights the following morning
There is absolutely no way I could have navigated through the process of finding available flights (particularly during the European summer peak season)
The service provided is great value and Bronwyn is a credit to the team.
