This was the first time ordering a turkey from Heartstone Farms. We usually get a fresh organic turkey, but this year a friend (and a foodie) recommended that we try a Heartstone bird. It was over-the-moon delicious. We will be ordering again from them. Although we are a carnivorous family, it is still very important to us that all animals’ rights are esteemed and thank you for humanely caring for them throughout the process of farm to table. Sincerely,

This beautiful all natural turkey fed 5 with leftovers for days. I was especially grateful for the quality, and ease of preparation. And we made a wonderful stock with the bones.

My wife and I were committed to having purchasing a humanely raised/sourced turkey this year and ordered from Heartstone farm. The whole process was simple, the turkey arrived with plenty of communication and it was FANTASTIC! The meat was tender and all who came raved about it. This will be our new source of turkey for thanksgiving.

Perfectly delivered to my door. Pristine turkey. Would encourage all to try. Cooked using cheesecloth saturated with melted butter draped over top. Yes, I’d buy it again.

We have not had our turkey yet, maybe in December. We really like the morning sausages, they had a great flavor. Rating our sausage.

I’m not a fan of turkey because usually the breast meat dries out before the legs are cooked. Not this bird!
We received a 10.4 lb turkey and I thawed it, stuffed the cavity with homemade stuffing, sprinkled poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper on top, and placed it in a ceramic covered baker with carrots and a cup of water in a 350 degree oven. In 2.5 hours it was cooked and a gorgeous crispy brown. There was plenty of juices to make 2 cups of gravy and while I was carving, I ate a piece of skin. The flavor completely took me by surprise- this was not an average bird. Wow! Great gravy, juicy breast meat, and raves from the family.
