Pasture-Raised Turkey
This is the second year I have ordered a turkey from Heartstone Farms. Each time they arrived on schedule, fully frozen and with the perfect instruction on defrosting. They were completely as advertised -- meaty, moist and DELICIOUS!!! Will order again next year.

I am submitting a review because farmer Dan is offering a $10 coupon for reviews. I will never use this coupon because I would not order from Heartstone farm again. I ordered 2 turkeys from them as I have done with other places the last 8 years and Heartstone is the only place in 8 years to send both turkeys at the exact minimum weight stated. If I ordered tow 10-13lbs turkeys other places I have never once received an exact 10lbs turkey. 10.5 and 12.5 yes, but never both at the exact minimum. They said giblets would be included, but they were not besides the neck guess adding the other giblets may have put the turkey .1 oz over the minimum. This place is 100% about profits and not customer service maybe a "small farm"; but definitely big commercial farm mentality. I would definitely go to place like Circle C farm out of FL. White Oak Pasture among others over using Heartstone again.

Dan - I am really sorry we let you down. The turkeys are grown by our partner farm, Tide Mill, and the weights of the turkeys are what we receive. That's why we give a range of the weight. The challenge of growing livestock - including turkeys - organically and without growth hormones - is that the weight of the finished bird is more difficult to control. That's just nature being nature. How you can conclude that we are all about profits and not customer service - I am not sure. We work hard to do this work - but we are not a factory farm producing cookie cutter turkeys. - Dan

Everyone gave this turkey rave reviews! We should have had leftovers, but it was picked clean to the bone. Looked great and tasted even better. I glazed it with butter, olive oil and honey, coarse Kosher salt and a bit of pepper, and placed a navel orange in the cavity.

Steak Burger Patties
The Steak Burgers are absolutely amazing! Unlike any burger we’ve ever had - full of rich delicious meaty flavor but not at all greasy. They don’t shrivel up when cooked so the result is yummy and satisfying. These burgers are a regular on our order list!

Pasture-Raised Turkey
The most thoroughly frozen food item that I have been shipped by anyone! Extremely well packed. And, delivered on time when promised.
I spatchcocked and dry brined turkey with Kosher Salt 48 hours.
Turkey roasted perfectly, was delicious and moist. The skin was incredibly crispy.
Price was a bit steep though.
Heartstone Farm overall and their products rates 4.5 stars.

It’s never been easier to support local farms and source high quality pasture raised meat! it was SO convenient to get my turkey delivered straight to my door and know that the turkey meets my high standards. It was absolutely delicious and even made bone broth using the carcass. Will definitely be ordered from here again!

Stew/Kebab Meat
Everything arrived in excellent condition and frozen solid. The meat ordered is excellent quality. Most importantly for me I know that the animals are treated humanely. This is of upmost importance in my book.

Ribeye Steak
I received my first order from Heartstone Farm and ordered a Ribeye steak, The meat was really tasty, the steak thick and had some good marbling. I ordered 10 cuts of meat altogether and everything I have eaten has been quality and I will continue to receive a monthly supply from this wonderful farm!

If you want a wow factor at your family or friends meal this tomahawk is a perfect way to go. It came with directions which was good since I had never made one before. The wide eyes and smiles around the table was rewarding. The meat was tender and juicy. I served ours with roasted vegetables and corn on the cob.

Pasture-Raised Turkey
The pasture-raised Turkey was tender and juicy. We stuffed it with fresh oranges, lemons, onion, garlic, sage and rosemary, salt and pepper. Then topped the skin with a softened butter cap. I was a huge hit.

Organic Pasture-Raised Turkey From Maine
One delicious turkey. It's my experience that organic chicken tastes better, which is what led us to try an organic turkey. It was a busy day in the kitchen, as Thanksgiving always is, and no one had time to reflect on the turkey's origin. But today, making stock and sandwiches with the leftovers, we realized how good it was. Will absolutely order again.
My one complaint is that the giblets were missing. Only the neck was included. I made a gravy from the neck and some frozen chicken giblets I had on hand. But I would have preferred more turkey in my turkey gravy.
