CIVIVI Elementum Utility Aluminum Green (C23039B-3)
For the most part, I am happy enough with the folding utility knife that lives in my toolbag, the Fiskars Pro Compact Folding Utility Knife. It's cheap, it's comfortable to use, and most importantly, it works as intended. Indeed, it's widely regarded as one of the best folding utility knives available in the mass market.

Still, as functional as it is, it has what I consider three major shortcomings. For one, it bugs me that when a standard double-ended utility blade installed in the Fiskars Pro, only 27 mm of its 62 mm cutting edge is exposed and available for use. That amount of cutting edge is sufficient if all you're doing is breaking down cardboard, opening packages, or cutting zip ties, but it makes cutting through a thick slab of closed-cell foam an exercise in frustration. Second, the 8 mm thick shroud that covers the spine of the double-ended utility blade in the Fiskars Pro significantly mitigates the advantages of its thin bladestock while performing certain cutting tasks. And finally, I find the Fiskars Pro to be needlessly bulky especially when considering how little cutting edge it offers.

Don't get me wrong, the Fiskars Pro is a good tool, especially for its price. But the three shortcomings I outlined holds it back enough that I've never seriously considered using a folding utility knife in place of the folder I regularly carry as my primary work cutting tool. That might change with the Civivi Elementum Utility Knife (CEUK), however. The CEUK addresses the three drawbacks I mentioned: (1) it has 52 mm of cutting edge available for use; (2) its blade shroud is only 3.25 mm thick for most of its length and is only 5 mm at its thickest point, at the blade retention screw; and (3) it has a reasonably narrow handle profile at 11 mm (not including the pocket clip or the protruding button for the button lock) and only weighs around 66 grams.

Beyond those three considerations, the CEUK does other things different from the Fiskars Pro. It uses a T8 screw to very securely hold the blade in place, which eliminates all wobble & movement (the Fiskars Pro has a very minor amount of play in its blade). The downside is that the user will need a T8 bit to change the blade on the CEUK (the Fiskars Pro uses a tool-less, spring-loaded blade retention mechanism), but it's a trade-off I am more than amenable to. The CEUK also offers multiple deployment methods (flipper, thumbstud, and button deployment), whereas the Fiskars Pro can only be deployed by depressing the button & using inertia to flick the knife open.

For all that the CEUK does right design-wise, however, I do feel slightly less positive about its value proposition. At $63 at the time of this writing, the CEUK costs over four times what the Fiskars Pro Compact Folding Utility Knife cost at a local hardware retailer when I got it a few years ago. The CEUK is a great folding utility knife, no doubt, but even taking into account that it comes with four utility blades in the package, I think it is fair to ask if it is four times better than the Fiskars Pro, especially since it presumably comes with an identical or comparable utility blade in terms of materials & heat treat. I personally think that elevated design is worth paying a premium, within reason, but where that line is will be different for everybody.

Vosteed Racoon Micarta Blue (A0403; RC3SVM3)
I noticed a couple defects on the blade. The detent is barely noticeable. The action is fun to figit with. I did want to return it and purchase another one as I did have defects, however, cost to ship is half the purchase price and not worth it. I ended up keeping it. I really wish the return Options could be better like cover the return shipping cost. Shipping is cheaper for you than us. I should not have to pay more money when an item you provided is deflective. For a budget knife I really do like it!

Kershaw Shuffle DIY (8720)
Used the 5/16 end to tighten or slack quite a few hose clamps, or screws with the bits, on the spot without having to go back to get a tool.
I keep a quick pocket sharpener to keep it razor sharp after a few uses. Doesn't hold the edge too long but it sharpens really fast if you don't wait too long.
All it's missing is a #2 square bit.
