These have a good weight and feel very good in your hands. Can be thrown hand or blade first. Knives come dull and work much better if you bevel the edge of the tips about 1 inch with a sharpening stone. They will stick a lot more often and with less force. Good to learn to throw knives and seem very durable.

I really like it, very simple to use… quick and puts a really nice edge on my chef’s knives. I use hand forged 1090 Damascus, gives me options from a razor sharp 15 degrees, thru 17, 20 and 25 degrees. I finish off my knife sharpening with a few strokes on a leather stoop and my knives cut just the way a sharp knife should, no work whatsoever, just glides thru whatever you’re slicing.

What a beautiful blade. The smoothness of the pivot and the crisp smoothness of the lock are beyond what I expected. And the Damascus is unbelievable in quality. It’s look and even the feel are amazing.

The look and blade shape is great. Blade material and edge retention are great. I like their ergonomics of the knife as the handle has a bit of thickness to it. The cost is somewhat budget friendly. I chose this knife because of the button lock feature which was supposed to be, in my mind, what makes it an all around great knife but in the end what I think covivi needs to work on more. The button lock, depending on how hard/deep you press it, changes the action of the knife making it inconsistent and almost unpredictable how the knife with fling open and close. Pushing too hard causes the blade to have more resistance stopping it from opening fully or closing fully. Too soft and the blade flies open and when closing it often bangs on the pin and then stays open about an inch or so and then needs and extra actions or a finger to close all the way. Which can be very unsafe if you don’t realize or using it for an emergency situation where you rely on the knife to close properly. For example, the bench made Bugout has zero issues with that. So due to the inconsistency of the button lock and the inconsistency of opening and closing I give this knife a very low score as the main purpose of a folding knife is to open and close without it being inconsistent/annoying and must be safe. Debating returning. House of Knives is still great though.
