Wusthof Blade Guard 2.50x20 (2069640202; 9920-2)
Not as substantial an item materials wisw for the price, but fit perfectly and does the job. Would have preferred a more solid and long-term non-porous material. But it was nice to be able to reach out to House of Knives from Montreal - where I am helping an elderley relative reorg. I live in Victoria, so H-of-K is a natural for me.

Shiro Kamo Keyaki Petty Knife 135mm (G-401-KY)
Bought a Shiro Kamo petty knife that would rust no matter what. I own a different Shiro Kamo knife and it doesn't behave this way. Too bad this store doesn't have warranty for such defects.

Artisan Cutlery Archaeo Black Carbon Fiber (1821P-CF)
The Archaeo acts as a bridge between Artisan Cutlery's budget steel and their more expensive models. It's a well made, good looking folder, with D2 steel and carbon fiber scales for a great price. The design is unusual, with one of the pointiest Wharncliffe blades I've ever seen, but that's typical of Dylan Mallory designs. It feels good in the hand, in terms of ergonomics, even with larger hands. The action is smooth for the fidget flippers out there, which you expect in any decently put together knife with ceramic ball bearings. With this design it would have been better if they made it with a bit thinner blade. Put a 0.11" thick blade on it and it's going stack up better versus entry level Spyderco knives in terms of how good it is at slicing.

WE Knife Co Vision R Titanium Blue (WE21031-3)
Amazing knife! Totally worth the price and really balanced in hand. I do wish the blade were just a little shorter, but I can live with the added length, as the knife is just so well made. A thin razor sharp blade, simple lock up/deployment system, quality materials, excellent fit and finish etc.

Sharp blade but kinda odd way to open knife and multi tool side is really only good for a flat blade

CRKT Swindle Flat Handle (K240XXP)
This definitely looks better in photos than it does IRL. This was to be a gift, but once experienced first-hand, I replaced the gift with something else rather than present this to someone.
Great design, but too many corners were cut in the materials and execution..good from far, but far from good.

Benchmade Griptilian 551 - S30V Steel (551-S30V)
AWESOME! My favorite out of practically all knives in my collection. EASY to deploy and fast. The scales feel a bit hollow and light. But, it's ok.
