Kershaw Leek Blackwash (1660BLKW)
This handsome pocketknife feels good 'n solid, and the assisted opening makes one-handed use easy peasy. I feel a good 20% more elegant and posh when I'm picking beef jerky outta my teeth with this beauty's needle point.
The edge seems to need a little more maintenance than the para 3 after a day of shipping work, which means I get to open it again at home. With the sweet assisted opening action, I can play pretend at being a West Side Story gang member without the legal stickiness of an actual switchblade. (They are illegal yeah? I dunno)
Here's a lil limerick, but gird yourself. Poetry is not my forte:
I purchased a blade from Kershaw
Within which I could find no flaw
I find that the spring
Of assisted opening
Makes one feel like a singing gangstaw

Hey Josh, You should pitch your poetry to Kershaw! Who wouldn't buy a Leek after reading your fine poetry? (Best review I've read in a while, you Josh are awesome)

Benchmade Bugout Ranger Green Grivory (535GRY-1)
First real knife purchase and it is a great knife. Love the look of it. So light you’ll forget it’s in your pocket. That light weight comes with a bit of handle flexibility. If you want to get rid of this, I recommend upgrading to Flytanium scales. Other than that the action is very smooth. Flicks open very fast.

Leatherman Wave Plus Multi Tool (832524)
Shipping was slow but that is Canada Post fault. The Leatherman itself is good quality, as expected. Quite heavy, but it's not that bad.

Spyderco Resilience Blue CPM S35VN (C142PBL)
For an entry level spyderco, this is an excellent value. Huge cpm-s35vn blade, full nested steel liners and very strong and grippy FRN handles. This knife is beast and an excellent work horse. 👍🍻😁🔪

CIVIVI Elementum Shredded Carbon Fiber with Copper and Damascus Clad Blade (C907C-DS3)
Just got one for my B-Day and it fell far short of expectations. Scales are not tightly fitted ( can see between them and the liner) the “flick” is sticky and one of the scales was scratched like they forgot to polish it in the factory.
Also scales not flush with liner. The quality of a knife 1/3 it’s cost.

CRKT Shenanigan Veff Serrations Black (K800KKP)
Great knife!! The assist is is nice and smooth, the blade locks in nicely. It is light weight and I really like the look and capabilities of the knife. The only down side is that the pocket clip isn't reversible. Although, it looks like you can remove the pocket clip without causing the handle scale to become loose.

Benchmade Griptilian 551 Olive Black Blade (551BKOD-S30V)
This is my third Griptillian, this time without the serrated edge. It's light, sharp, and strong as an EDC blade. Handle feels natural in the hand. Steel is high quality.

CIVIVI Praxis Black G10 (C803C)
Very nicely made knife. A bit larger than most EDC's due to the wider than average blade but still manageable. Very smooth and easy opening with solid locking and absolutely zero play. Very sharp out of the box. Great knife at a great price.
