Grohmann #4 Survival Knife Rosewood Carbon Button Sheath (R4C)
Another great experience ordering from HOK and an Impressive Canadian made knife. This is a large outdoor knife that is great for bushcraft and larger tasks with a very comfortable grip.

Byrd Robin 2 Black G10 (BY10GP2)
Solid little knife. My EDC is a Cold Steel Tuff Lite. I thought this would be a contender, and though it could be an ideal EDC, it is slightly smaller than I would want that combination of handle and blade to be for my use. I am looking at the Spyderco line with that in mind.

We hope you find exactly what you are looking for. Keep in mind that below every product on our website there is a section you can click on that will describe features and specs. This is a great way to know exactly how big/small a knife is when you do not live close enough to one of our locations to visit and see them in person.

Cold Steel Tuff Lite Olive Drab Green Plain Edge (CS-20LTG)
This is my second Tuff Lite. I still have the first, and it is my preferred EDC. The new one, the one I am reviewing has a “hot spot” which I haven’t noticed on the first. Not a big deal… it’s at the point between the choils, probably left over from moulding the scales. It is still a great knife. If I needed a third, I wouldn’t hesitate.

Hi Christopher, sorry to hear your knife has a hot spot! If it is something you think warrants a exchange or refund, please see our return policy on the website, We are happy to work with you!

CRKT Inazuma No Ken (2908)
Shipping was spot on. The no Ken was a little more than I'm used to paying for a knife but seems solid and is a joy to carry and play with. One issue though is the release button can come loose after a bit if not paying attention.

CRKT CEO Compact Blue Grey (7095)
This is a great little knife. I love all of the knives in the CEO series, but they are just a bit too big for EDC. This is the perfect size. Being able to purchase it from a Canadian company was the icing on the cake!

Fast delivery, as usual. Thanks HoK!
Nice fit, finish, centering and action. Rated 4 stars because it was not really sharp out of the box; however, it was to be expected at that price range and it sharpened easily :)

Spyderco Delica 4 Black FRN Plain Edge (C11FPBK)
Recommended for beginners and pros alike, the Delica is among Spyderco's most popular models due to its versatility. It's light, fits small to medium hands, and allows for ambidextrous carry and actuation, which can be done single-handedly. The blade steel is stainless and sharpens quickly, the blade stock is thin and slicey. The scales provide grippy traction due to their raised pattern.
Beware that while the fit is good, some may find the finish a bit lacking. The scales are made from mold-injected fiberglass reinforced nylon resulting in a few hot spots due to having sharp edges; same for the opening hole (it won't cut, but may scrape skin).

Kizer Towser K Red Micarta (V4593C2)
Multilevel bearing pivots make for an unparalleled action on this Azo designed, Kizer produced folder. Three holes per side allow for ambidextrous deep and even deeper tip up carry. The overall ergonomics are optimal for chopping, while jimping on the ricasso facilitates chocking up on the blade for greater control. Finally, 154CM steel is a cut above, usually not found at this price point.

Spyderco Police Model 4 Lighweight Black (C07PBK4)
Ergonomically and steel-wise it's a great kitchen folder. Easy to clean, a breeze to sharpen, the police 4 is my tool of choice for a counter-attack on killer tomatoes from space.

Boker Plus Titan Drop Lockback (01BO188)
Great EDC knife overall with proper craftsmanship. Very sleek with a nice feel. One problem, the blade doesn't quite stay fixed when pressure is applied (cutting) and it opens past the locked position. It hasn't unlocked while using it but doesn't feel totally secured.
