The knife is perfect in every way……. other than the edges of bolster. They are a little sharp for the fingers. But awesome either way. 12” is the way to go.

Good design. Good value. Stiff out of the box. Needs breaking in or disassembly and cleaning, lube to get good action.

Shun Sora 8" Chef Knife (VB0706)
I've always wanted a Shun knife and after 10 years my old Henkle just wasn't holding an edge, so I decided to take advantage of an amazing sale and get myself this knife. This knife has excellent weight, great balance and the blade is rigid, meaning almost no flex. I needed to prep some onions, garlic, celery and carrots for a meal, ended up chopping up the whole damn pile when I only needed a few of each. I was really enjoying myself, the handle is perfect, it's got this almost damascus edging to it, very attractive. Gonna invest the money and replace all my knives with shuns and get a whole set now :) Buy this knife!

CRKT M16 Bronze Silver Blade (M16-03BS)
Price: Great for this knife. It's what I expected.
Feel: For a guy my size (I'm 5'8 tall and slim-medium build) this piece fits my hand better than most of the knives I have ever purchased. (I also own the CRKT M16-14SFG tanto and even though its awesome it's just a little bulky for an edc whereas this guy fits perfect)
Fit and Finish: The copper look with the steel is really attractive in my opinion and drew my eye to it immediately. Everything feels really tight on this blade and there is no play in the movement.
I do wish I would have purchased the same knife but with the additional lock on the back of the handle. (Not that's needed but I lost the "same" knife as this in black that had that lock and I kind of miss it. My mistake, I should have paid more attention but was too excited. And who doesn't get excited when ordering new knives? lol)
Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and look forward to trying out more knives from this store.
