Perfect every day carry size. Fun to fidget with. Nice to be able to flip it closed without fingers being in the way.

Shun Hinoki Cutting Board - Small (DM0814)
Love this little board. I bought the small one and it’s just the right size to maybe slice an onion and other vegetables. It’s a softer wood and I feel secure in knowing that it’s not damaging the blades of my new knives.

Thanks, again, for the feedback, Lillian. Also, we sell cut resistant gloves, if you're interested...

Shun Premier 5pc Starter Block Set (TDMS0512)
The knives are beautiful. Everything about this package was beautiful. I had a really great experience with the House Knives when purchasing. I’ve already made plans to add to my collection every year. I can attest that they are super sharp because two nights ago I sliced my finger and wound up in emergency! Like a hot knife through butter.

Shun Premier 4" Paring Knife (TDM0700)
I have invested what I feel is a great deal of money into my Shun knives. I was attracted to these knives by looks, feel and a sharp edge that was lacking in the knives I was using.
Now that I have actually used my new knives in my everyday cooking, for the last 6 months, it has been a positive experience. They perform as advertised. Got to pay more attention to my fingers but the cutting results make it worthwhile. They have been a good addition to my kitchen.

I am sorry to hear that. Assuming it was kept clean and dry, it should not have rusted so quickly. Although rust is not normally covered under warranty you are welcome to contact us at service@houseofknives.ca as soon as possible. Thank you.

CIVIVI Dogma Blue G10 Carbon Fiber (C2014DS-2)
The Civivi Dogma Blue is a fancy looking knife, made from good materials. It's designed for looks, Damascus with layered G10/carbon fiber, but with good enough materials for use as an EDC. You might feel bad if you deploy it as a hard use EDC knife though, because it's so pretty. I really wish whenever knife companies tell you a blade is made of Damascus that they'd also tell you the steels used in that particular Damascus, because there's a lot of possible variations.

Grohmann #1 Rosewood Stainless with Sheath (R1S)
The Grohmann #1 is both a capable belt knife and a piece of Canadian knife making history. I already own a 60th Anniversary collector's model that was issued in 1917 and needed this one for the outdoors. The Grohmann #1 is a full tang knife with a slicey sabre grind for general bushcraft use. I prefer the stainless model, as it's a bit less maintenance in the bush.
