Benchmade Barrage - Black Coated - Tanto (583BK)
This is my second Barrage. Beautiful and quality knife that feels expensive which justifies the price. Make sure you are practiced in sharpening a tanto blade as it comes perfect out of the box. Very sharp! Fits very nicely in the hand and has excellent safety features. Slightly large for indiscriminate carrying if that is of concern.

Victorinox Swiss Army Huntsman Year of the Ox (1.3714.E10)
I gifted this knife to my boyfriend who will later gift it to our son when he’s a teenager. It’s very nice I can’t wait for him to grow up to be able to use it.

Great starter block. My knives hadn't been sharpened since purchased, in 7 years. Brought them back to life.

Victorinox Fibrox 10.25" Serrated Bread Knife (40547-5.2933.26)
Excellent knife. Cuts with ease through sourdough bread and its length helps make a nice cut. Good for watermelon, cake and many other cuts.

WE Angst Grey and Black G10 (2002B)
Really nice little knife that I have no "angst" in recommending. Was smaller in hand than I expected but makes for a very easy carry. Build and finish great.

Kershaw Camp 10 (1077)
Handle fits hand well the sheath is probably the best part of the knife. Low quality steel made in China, folded the blade with some light chopping of brush.

Wusthof Classic Ikon Santoku Hollow Ground 5" (1040331314)
Picked up this knife as an add-on to an Ikon 10" since the comfortable handle and hollow ground blade would make a small vegetable chopper but, as it happens, this knife works great as a hard cheese knife. It is ok for softer cheeses too but, nothing really works on softer cheese.
Thanks, as always, to House of Knives for the excellent service and pricing! Always a pleasure!

Wusthof Classic Ikon Chef 10" (1040330126)
So great to Deal with House of Knives! Everything is a breeze.
I wanted a Western style knife to complement my Shun collection and after the excellent prior experiences with HoK, it was an easy choice! Plus, the best pricing around!
This knife is top shelf; just what I was looking for. It is very sharp and sturdy with a very comfortable handle. This is a perfect companion to the Shuns as this knife can handle hacking through everything from squash to whole chicken.

Great EDC knife, super sharp out of the box, blade was centred perfectly. Nothing to complain about. Price was also the best anywhere in Canada for this knife.

Benchmade Griptilian 550 - S30V Steel (550-S30V)
I'm glad this Mel Pardue design was one of my early Benchmade purchases. It really turned me onto the brand and has earned a regular spot on my hard use rotation. Good S30V blade and great ergonomics for a decent price. With the simple, black plastic handle I'd be sorely tempted to upgrade the scales if there were options available in micarta, brass, or copper; as long as they did nothing to alter the great handle design that fits so well in my hand.
